Oh joy – I have some easy cards for beginners to share with you today because we are stamping with a SIP… and a punch! I love teaching quick & easy card making for beginner stampers. Or, if you’re an experienced stamper, I love sharing quick & easy card ideas for you to make! Card making should be fun and not overwhelming, and we can keep our supplies to a minimum while still creating beautiful handmade cards. So today, let’s stamp with a SIP – Stamps, Ink, and Paper are all we need to begin card making.

For this easy cards for beginners project I’m creating with the Humble Home Bundle. This bundle includes the Humble Home stamp set with a coordinating builder punch. So yes, we will stamp with a SIP and a punch! The punch is not necessary and you could easily recreate these cards without it, but having the coordinating punch is such an easy way to add a small level of dimension to your card to give it a whole different look.
Video Tutorial: Stamp With A SIP… And A Punch!
If you’re a beginner, this video tutorial is filled with lots of simple stamping tips to help you learn to make cards. I’m excited to share with you my favorite SIP method of stamping, along with some quick tips on how you can “step up” your card design if you wish.

Humble Home Card Details
To make these three SIP + a punch cards I used my favorite Note Cards & Envelopes. They come as a pack of 20 and are pre-cut and scored card bases ready to be designed! I always recommend using note cards if you’re looking to make easy cards for beginners. Plus, since they are smaller than a standard card size you don’t have much of a white space to feel like you need to “fill up”.

Watch the video tutorial to learn how I added the shadow look to this home!

Watch the video tutorial for my tip on an easy way to stamp the different colors of brick and roof to line up and fit the punch!

This house was punched out of Designer Series Paper and then I stamped the roof, door, and windows!

Now, if you’re looking for a more “stepped up” project to make using the Humble Home Bundle, here are a few ideas to help inspire you! You can see that they are the same layouts as the SIP cards above, just added a few more layers and an embossed background.
