Are you new to card making? Just starting out and want to learn how to stamp cards without a lot of supplies and products? You are in the right place! I am all about teaching beginners how to start using my proven method of SIP Stamping! SIP stamping stands for STAMPS, INK, and PAPER! That is all you need to learn how to stamp cards and create beautiful handmade cards to send to family and friends!
Today I am sharing some projects made using the Stampin’ Up! Inked & Tiled stamp set. This is the perfect stamp set for beginners, or anyone who just loves to make quick and easy cards. Whether you want to stamp a quick card to brighten someone’s day, or you want to stamp a whole stack of cards to have on hand and ready to mail, you will love these cards.
In the video, I share how to stamp cards using just stamps, ink, and paper. We start by using pre-cut note cards so you don’t even need to cut any card stock (paper), it’s all ready for you to just create!
And then, I’ll show you how easy it is to take the simple stamped card and “step it up” a little. By adding in a couple of layers you can “step up” your card without a whole lot of extra time, work, or products.
Are you ready? Let’s learn how to stamp cards and have fun doing it!

What’s fun about this stamp set is that you can use any colors and easily mix and match the different sentiments to make a card for almost any occasion or reason to send one!
These first two versions use only the Stampin’ Up! Note Cards – no cutting needed. Just open the package and fold the card in half!
When stamping, make sure to stamp the inside of your card and the envelope – watch the video to see how I did that.
And then, it’s so easy to just add a couple of layers of card stock, or even a punched piece to add that extra special touch. When you are learning how to stamp cards, it’s important to start with the basics and then add more.
This is the perfect example. The basics are STAMPS, INK, and PAPER (SIP) and then we add the special touches with a little more card stock and the punched out sentiment piece!
