Card Making For Beginners – Start With a Card Kit
Are you ready to start making beautiful handmade cards but you are not sure how to start? I have the solution – start with a kit! Stampin’ Up! has so many great kits to pick from and they take all the guesswork out of crafting. There are even a few “non-card” kits you select from. Pick the kit you like and start creating it in no time.
Note – since kits are always coming and going, not all kits shown in these pictures may be currently available.
Card Kits Are the Perfect Way to Get Started
When you purchase a card kit, it comes with everything you need and it’s all pre-cut and designed. It is the perfect stress-free way to make those first cards. It’s a great way to “try it” before you make a bigger investment and before you delve into learning more.
Kits come in a variety of styles and for many different occasions. So whether you like “bold and bright” or something a little more subtle… or are looking to make birthday cards, or all occasion cards – there is something for everyone.
All of the kits are “all-inclusive,” so you get everything you need in a cute little box. The only thing you may have to supply yourself is scissors. Other than that, just grab your kit and enjoy a fun creative escape! And once you are done making your cards – you are done! You may have a few left over pieces if you want to save for other projects, or, just toss the scraps and you now have several beautiful cards (or a project) to share with others.
Many Different Kits to Pick From
Each month Stampin’ Up! releases two new kits, so the collection to pick from is always growing. You can see what is currently available in the Stampin’ Up! Online Store. When looking, if a kit is pictured says Currently Unavailable, that means it is sold out right now, but will eventually be back in stock.
If you see a kit that I have featured (or on this page) and you go to the store and don’t see it, then it is sold out and gone forever. Since the kits are always changing, sometimes we feature one that is gone, so take that opportunity while in the store to look around and see what other kits are available.
Below are some of my favorites, but really, it’s all about what you like! There are so many different styles, occasions, and themes. Some of them include a stamp set and ink, while others have everything ready to just create the cards. Each also includes instructions and there are video tutorials available (keep scrolling for the complete playlist.)
