Card Making For Beginners – Start With a Card Kit

card kits are perfect for beginner stampers

Card Kits Are the Perfect Way to Get Started

Are you ready to start making beautiful handmade cards? I am here to help you get started without being overwhelmed and without having to purchase a ton of products.

My best recommendation for making your first cards is to select a card kit. Stampin’ Up! has many to pick from, so there is something for everyone’s taste and style.

When you purchase a card kit, it comes with everything you need and it’s all pre-cut and designed. It is the perfect stress free way to make those first cards.

My Favorite Card Kits

Stampin’ Up! is always adding to their selection of card kits. Below are some of my favorites that I think are perfect to get started with. Some of them include a stamp set and ink, while others have everything ready to just create the cards. Each also includes instructions and there are video tutorials available.

Since the selection is always changing, make sure the check the Stampin’ Up! website to see what is currently available. If a kit is shown on the website, but it says CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE, that means it will eventually be back in stock. If one of the kits show below is NOT on the website any longer, that means it is gone forever.

Light the Candles – $19
A Million Thanks – $21
No Matter the Weather – $19
Saying Thanks – $13
Timeless Greetings – $21
Petal Notes – $12

Want to Select Your Own Stamps, Paper, & Ink?

If want to jump in to card making by selecting your own products and being creative on your own (without everything pre-cut and designed for you), I am able to help you select the right products. You don’t need a lot, but you need to ensure that you get all the basics and everything you need to create your first cards. For the complete guide to selecting your own stamps, paper, & ink, check out my SIP METHOD of stamping. On this page I will guide you through everything you need to know to get started card making.

Select Your Card Kit and Get Started

Once your kit arrives you will be creating in minutes. My recommendation is to sort out all the pieces for the different cards included in separate piles. Then start with one design first and follow the instructions (or pictures) to make your cards.

Gather Your Friends and Create With Card Kits

Card making kits are the perfect solution to get crafty with your friends. No need to design, plan, or even cut card stock – just open the box and enjoy the fun of being creative! Everyone can have their own kit to make cards with, or PURCHASE SEVERAL to share.
