Everyone loves to receive handmade cards in their mailbox (much better than junk mail!) and I have some great quick and easy cards to share with you so that you can flood the mailboxes of your family and friends.
I am all about making quick and easy cards because I know we are all busy and don’t have a lot of time and space! Card making should be fun and not overwhelming, so when you stick to the quick and easy you don’t need a lot of supplies, but you can still make gorgeous cards!
Today I am sharing the Cheerful Daisies stamp set. It’s the perfect one for quick and easy cards. I have two different layouts to share with you to show you how easy these cards are. You will be creating in no time with all my card-making tips and tricks.
And the best part, you only need stamps, ink, and paper for these cards. I like to call this method of cardmaking SIP CARDS. Too often we get overwhelmed with all the “stuff,” so if we bring it back in and just take a SIP, it’s fun to create.
To keep things simple, I used the exact same supplies and card layouts for both of these cards. I do this often when I have a stamp set with lots of different images because I can cut the layers, grab just a couple of ink pads, and create a way!
Quick and Easy Cards Video Tutorial
This video is perfect for the beginner stamper and cardmaker as it’s filled with basic tips! I am all about keeping it simple so that these cards are easy enough that anyone can make them.
Card Supplies and Measurements
I love this basic layout because it uses the same measurements for all of these cards! In the video, I shared two different designs using the same products. Below are two more examples of one of the cards using different colors.
You could use any colors with this stamp set and any sentiments. I stuck to the sentiments that come in the Cheerful Daisies stamp set, but you could certainly change them up to have a card for any occasion.
Measurements
- Very Vanilla Note Cards and Envelopes (I love these because they come in a package of 20!)
- Basic White layer: 4 1/2″ x 3″
- Pecan Pie or Basic Black layer: 4 5/8″ x 3 1/8″
That’s it! You can cut a bunch of pieces and then just sit down and create a whole stack of cards!
Products Used on These Cards
I put together a list of all the colors and products I used to make these cards. If you’d like to purchase any of them, simply add them to your shopping cart.
The Cheerful Daisies stamp set does have coordinating dies and if you purchase as a bundle you save 10%, so I put that on the list. In the video, I did show you a few cards made using the dies.

If so, check out these other projects I have previous posted:
Here are the other cards that I showed in the video. Make sure to watch the video for tips to create them. These cards all use the Cheerful Daisies coordinating dies to add some dimension to them. They are still quick and easy cards, but just have a little “wow” to them.
