Beginner Card Making: Easy Handmade Cards with Stamps, Ink & Paper

If you are new to stamping and wondering where to begin, you are in the right place. One of the biggest misconceptions about card making is that you need tons of supplies, expensive tools, and complicated techniques to create beautiful handmade cards. You really don’t. When I first teach new crafters, I always encourage new stampers to start simple with just stamps, ink & paper. That is truly the foundation of card making, and you can create hundreds of beautiful cards with just a few basic supplies.

Today’s project is perfect for beginner card making because it uses easy layouts, simple stamping, and basic supplies to create beautiful handmade cards without feeling overwhelming. These are the kinds of cards that help build confidence while still being fun, creative, and rewarding to make. The best part? Once you learn a simple design like this, you can use it over and over again with different stamps, colors, and papers to create endless card ideas.
