Celebrations come in all different sizes and styles – birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, retirements, and everything in between. So instead of trying to find a different stamp set to match every occasion, have one that creates celebration cards to celebrate every achievement and milestone – big or small!
Today, we’re keeping our celebration cards super simple and stamping with a SIP! This is my favorite stamping method because all you need is the basics: STAMPS, INK, and PAPER. After we make our simple and celebratory SIP card, I’ll show you how to “step it up” by adding two simple layers. And bonus – I’m sharing how to use the easiest tool for cleaning your stamps, the Simply Shammy!
The stamp set Beautiful Balloons is exactly what you need to create handwritten notes of love, celebration, or appreciation. Video Tutorial For SIP Celebration Cards
In this video, we’re going to start by simply stamping with a SIP. I always recommend to new card makers to try this method first and learn that you can create beautiful cards with limited supplies. And then I’ll show you how to step that card up with a black and white cardstock layer (again, limited supplies needed). Oh – and I also have good tips to share with you about cleaning stamps with the Simply Shammy!

Beautiful Balloons Card Details
These cards were made using the Basic White Note Cards & Envelopes for the card bases. I love creating with these and use them all the time! I highly recommend these to new card makers because they come pre-cut, scored, and ready to be designed!
Now if you want to “step up” the first SIP card and add the two layers, here are the measurements.
- Basic White layer: 3″ x 4 1/2″
- Basic Black layer: 3 1/8″ x 4 5/8″
