One of my favorite gifts to give is handmade cards that my family and friends can send out. I love to create sets and package them up in this easy-to-make note card box. The box can be as pretty as the note cards and it makes the perfect gift. You don’t even have to wrap it up!
For today’s project, I not only show you how to make the note card box, but also these easy note cards. These are the perfect cards that anyone can make, even those of you who are brand new beginner card maker. They don’t take many supplies and you can whip them up in no time.
Let’s Make the Note Card Box
Follow along in the video to see how to make this easy note card box. The standard-size note cards and envelopes from Stampin’ Up! fit perfectly into the box and makes a beautiful gift.

What You Need to Make This Project
I have the complete list of all the products I used, plus the measurements for making the note card box.
Cutting & Scoring Measurements for Note Card Box
- You need a piece of card stock that is 7 1/2″ x 11″
- On the 11″ side, score at 1″, 5″ 6″, and 10″
- Then, turn to the 7 1/2″ side and score at 1″ and 6 1/2″
Make sure to follow along with the video to see how easy the box is to make. I show how to score, cut small sections, and fold up! And I promise it is super easy!
Now, let’s make the note cards (I think in the video I made the note cards first, then the box)
You will need:
- Stampin’ Up! Note Cards & Envelopes
- Basic White layer: (2) 4 1/2″ x 3″ (one for outside, one for inside)
- Basic Black layer: 4 5/8″ x 3 1/8″ (one for outside, one for inside)

Sorry, I’m U.S. based and we do everything in inches. But there are conversion tools online you can use to help convert to cm.

I just did the math to make this box for A2 cards. You would need a piece of card stock 7 3/4″ x 12″.
On the 12″ side score at 1″, 5 1/2″, 6 1/2″, 11″. On the 7 3/4″ side score at 1″ & 6 3/4″. This should fit envelopes size 4 3/8″ x 5 3/4″. It will be snug, but unless you have cardstock longer than 12″ this would be the limit you could do with a 12″ x 12″ piece of cardstock. Hope this helps those asking.
