Today I’m sharing a handmade card for encouragement because…. Breast cancer sucks! What else can I say? It seems like whichever direction I turn, I hear of another friend or family member who has breast cancer. It’s everywhere and touches all of us in some way at some time. But what an opportunity to brighten someone’s day with a hand-stamped card in their mailbox to encourage them along their journey. The Ribbon of Courage stamp set is perfect for just that. And, it’s NOT just for Breast Cancer. Use the ribbons in all different colors to make encouragement cards or thinking of you cards to encourage anyone going through any type of cancer. So, today, it’s all about encouraging YOU to encourage SOMEONE with a handmade card!

Today’s Fun Fold Window Card
This stamp set works perfect for a window card. I actually shared this over a year ago as a facebook live project. The video recording turned out horrible, so I thought I would remake it so that you would have a good video to follow along to make this card with.

Jackie, beautiful cards. Cancer is more and more prevalent all the time. I’ve lost several family members and friends to different types of cancer. Just last year my best friend was diagnosed with Leukemia. Glad to say that after chemo and a bone marrow transplant she is doing great. Speaking of transplants, awareness ribbons aren’t just for cancer. I received a heart and double lung transplant almost 12 years ago and I am proud to say my awareness ribbon is green. Best of luck to anyone going through cancer or any type of illness. Be strong and stay positive! Love to you all. Hope to meet you in Orlando Jackie!
Thanks for pointing out that awareness ribbons cover lots of causes and conditions. I’m glad you are doing so well now, Lisa! Yes…looking forward to meeting you in Orlando too.
Thank you so much – not all ribbons are pink. My husband is fighting Grade4 GBM. I’m trying to create thank you cards along the way. I bought the stamp set months ago not thinking I’d need it for this ?
Brain Tumor is gray
Any suggestions
First off, I am so sorry to hear about your husband. Cancer sucks, as I am sure you know. Any of the card designs could easily be made in different colors. This post shows a few other cards in different colors: https://klompenstampers.com/2017/06/everyone-needs-stamp-set.html
