A Fun Fold Card Class You’ll Rave About; It’s Your Cup of Tea!

I am so excited about this new monthly class! Each month we will feature 4 new easy fun fold cards. This month, the fun fold card class is focused on the lovely Tea Boutique Suite by Stampin’ Up!

This is totally new and different… you will learn to make FUN FOLD TEMPLATES that you will use over and over when card making. You will want to watch the video, start and stop it, and make the templates. Oh, and I have a special guest in the video!

Four fun fold cards, lying on a table, that were created by using the templates learned in the fun fold card class. The four card are bright and colorful and designed with the Cup of Tea stamp set.

I also have a PDF tutorial available for this class if you prefer written instructions, it’s available in my TUTORIAL STORE. Or, simply watch the fun fold card class and learn how to make the templates.

Fun Fold Card Class: Learn To Make This Month’s Template

Grab some old card stock, and Designer Series Paper, and let’s make the templates for these fun fold cards. Nothing needs to match, as the templates are to create and use later. These templates are designed so you can use them with any stamps, ink, and paper!

You will want to start a “shoebox” to store the templates in as each month we will make 4 new ones. I know you are going to love this new monthly fun fold card class!

When you are ready to make these fun fold card class templates, follow along and start, pause, or stop the video as you need to.

Do you prefer having written instructions? I have a PDF Tutorial available that shows how to make all four of these fun fold card templates plus the step-by-step instructions for making the four complete cards using the Cup of Team stamp set.

PLEASE NOTE – some of the products in the tutorial may be retired, however, the templates/instructions are designed so that you can make these fun fold cards with any stamps, ink, and paper.

Fun Fold Card Templates Book

Many of you have asked for all of our Fun Fold Templates to be put together into a book… and we did it! It is available in two different ways. Option one is an e-book that is a PDF Document you can download and save. Option two is a printed book that comes to you printed and bound.

The book contains instructions and measurements to make all 54 Fun Fold Card Templates that we have shared in our free video series.

Use the book to create all the templates, or use it as a handy resource as you are making cards! You will never have to search for another fun fold card design – they are all together and easy to follow!

Fun Fold Card Class – Volume 1 Tutorial

In the video, I showed the cards that I made using the templates and using the ‘Cup of Tea’ stamp set, dies, and Tea Boutique DSP. Oh my goodness–do I love this suite of products.

But remember–the class is all about making the templates. I hope you use this free class video and create them. Simply start and stop the video to catch all the cutting, scoring, and measurements.

  1. Love, love, love the template ideas! Really enjoyed watching Dave make the cards & hope he’ll return often. Dave you’re not alone-sometimes I use too much glue too! We need to get more men involved in making cards.

  2. Going to also say I LOVE the templates!! It’s a great way to have everything right at hand to start a card. And, so enjoyed the two of you demonstrating how to do it. Looking forward to next month’s class.

  4. What a team! Great templates too. Just so your husband doesn’t feel alone – ever so often, I too have the same problems with the glue.

Thank you both👍

  8. Love the cards. I keep templates I enjoy making in a stamp case. Guess I will have to get a shoe box to hold all of the ones you will be sharing with us. Please invite Dave back! His gluing methods reminded me of mine when I first started stamping! I’d have glue everywhere! Thanks for your time and effort in bringing this to us.

  10. Thank you, Jackie, for another great video! I love the templates!
Usually I watch your video first and later make a card or two, but this time I could follow along and made all 4 templates “together” with you and Dave 🙂 Love all your cards and techniques!

  11. Thank you Jackie for your brilliant idea of helping us make our own templates.
I have saved your email and plan to try the templates out tomorrow as a long weekend here in Perth, W.A.
Loved you and Dave working together at a pace we can all follow.
I always enjoy your emails but this series of monthly tutorials on templates will be something special to look forward to.
    Many thanks once again

  12. Love this idea! Look forward to you and handsome, nice husband! Lucky he is willing to do this. Tried to order tutorial, told me already have account and did not let me pay. Hate to keep buying from other demonstrators when can buy at discount myself as hobbyist. Especially during saleabration. Don’t know why it would not let me charge and what I have to do now.

  13. This is over the top genius on your part and I just love that your hubby is helping you out! Can’t wait to get my tutorial emailed to me (yes I like mine written out LOL) as I did place an order with you because I just love that Tea Set stamp! And the paper is so bright and happy! Thank you for sharing and doing such an amazing job in always giving us excellent instructions and videos!!!

  14. I love this idea of making templates. I’ve been printing the instructions on some of the fun fold cards so I keep referring to them while making the cards. Once I go to a different card, I have to go digging through all the instructions I’ve printed to find the one I want to repeat. I will definitely be making these templates and throw all this other paper away. Thank you so much.

  16. Fun video with Dave as your helper! Y’all are so cute! I am excited about all these fun fold templates. What a great idea to make the cards as templates all assembled with measurements written on them. I can clean up my Pinterest boards now that I will be making some of these templates like this.

  18. Brilliant idea and I thank both of you for these. You two are so cute together! I just made my first set of templates and it makes such a difference to have samples like these as reference. I added notes about the size of the card base and flaps, where to score, and the date of the blog posting in case I need (or want) to rewatch.

I’m so looking forward to the next videos!

  20. Your “handy helper” is the best! I loved his comments and pounding the glued paper. Bring him along again.

  21. What a great idea! And I love when you and your husband stamp together. He is such a good sport. And easy on the eyeballs, too! Be gentle with him! He actually is pretty intuitive about this stuff! Thank you for this series. It is fantastic!

  22. Got my templates made by taking supplies, tablet out on the deck in the evening. My hubby is an engineer also and Dave is so cute “discovering” stamping tools that to us are “old hat”. He has wonderful eyes, smile and a great head of hair! Have him next time.

To be fair, how about an entertainment video with YOU helping him with one of HIS projects!!

  23. I caught up with this tutorial the after you had posted the second one. Loved this one. Wish I had had it a year or so ago when I was finding my way in card making. Looking forward to the second one. The two of you work well together. How nice is that!

  24. I so look forward to your template videos with Dave. Informative, yes, but boy is it entertaining. I love how he adheres things, bang and pow! No need to but one of those tools that helps get crisp stamped images … just let Dave used his fist. He is such a great sport and the two of you work together so well. Looking forward to August.

  26. I’m a little behind, and just finished watching this video – what a good sport your husband is! I do hope you bring him in again because not only was it fun watching him do EXACTLY what I do (use too much glue!), but he sounds so much like my uncle – must be that Michigan “accent” since my uncle was born and raised (and still lives for half the year) in Kalamazoo.
