This layout is super easy and the possibilities are endless. Need any tips for putting on the diagonal pieces? Be sure and watch the entire video where you can also see the cards up close– pictures just don’t do them justice.
I am making the “Best Butterflies” card for you, and then we will take a peak at the others. All 3 cards use the exact same cutting dimensions, but I varied the Designer Series Paper and card stock. I love these simple card design ideas and how they work perfectly with so many different stamps.

The Magic Measurements
All 3 cards that I made use the same measurements. First, let’s look at the one I created in the video.
CARD MEASUREMENTS:
- Crumb Cake card base: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
- Basic White: (2) 3 3/4″ x 5″ (one for outside, one for inside)
- Starry Sky: (2) 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″
- (3) strips of Butterfly Kisses DSP: 1/2″ x approximately 6″

The cardstock colors I used on this card were Parakeet Party, Crumb Cake, and Basic Black. The Designer Series Paper is from the BRIGHTS COLLECTION of DSP.
