Have you seen the Heartfelt Hexagon Bundle that is available in the Stampin’ Up! online store? This is a fun bundle that was a special release for World Card Making Day a couple of weeks ago. I know that many of you grabbed it then to participate in the fun online event, so I thought I would share a few additional ideas with it. Plus, I wanted to show you how easy it is to use the Card Templates that we are making in our FREE Monthly Class.
If you did not purchase this special stamp set and punch, it is still available on the Stampin’ Up! website. Below you will find some projects I made with the Heartfelt Hexagon bundle, as well as the projects that Stampin’ Up! shared during World Card Making Day.
First, let’s make some note cards! These cards were made using the Note Cards and Envelopes that I so often use.
For the two cards on the left, I added a 3 1/4″ x 4 3/4″ layer of Basic White on the note card. Keep scrolling and I will have the complete list of colors and supplies that I used. I tried to stick to the bundle for these, but I just could not help but pull in the cake stamp from the Curved Occasions stamp set. How can you say “Let’s eat cake” and not have a cake?? These would make excellent wedding cards!
The second set of three cards was also made using the note cards. I really like this size of card (3 1/2″ x 5″), especially when the stamps are fairly small and I want to keep them clean and simple.
Card Templates Make Quick & Easy Cards
I was having so much fun creating with Heartfelt Hexagon, that I just could not stop. So, I grabbed my card templates from volume 1, and made a card using each one! For these, I used the gorgeous DELIGHTFUL FLORAL Designer Series Paper. This was also a special release and is still available (at least at the time I am writing this!)
This paper coordinates with the TRANSLUCENT FLORALS BUNDLE that is part of the Fall Mini Catalog Collection.
