The Klompen Stampers team is a community of creative, talented, and kind-hearted paper crafters all with a passion for card making. We have an amazing online community where we share ideas, help each other answer questions, and support one another. With so many different creative styles, unique ideas, and technique skills – there is always something new to learn from a member of the team. I love the supportive community of the Klompen Stampers and the new ideas we keep learning from each other.
Today, I want to spotlight one of our talented team members, Julia Sager, and show off her rustic cards designed with Country Birdhouse Bundle. Julia’s style of stamping is clean and simple (CAS) as well as quick and easy. She likes cards that are quick to make, if there is too much detail she tends to lose interest and it becomes a “one and done” type of card! Julia loves to be able to make cards with a wonderful template that she can recreate again and again.

A few fun facts about Julia:
- She’s been stamping for 23 years! She was a SU! Demo for 11 years, took a 7-year break, and has been back since August 2023.
- She’s been playing the viola for nearly five decades! She has a deep appreciation for music and plays regularly with her Praise Band at church.
- She’s an avid gardener! She finds solace and joy in nurturing plant life and creating beautiful outdoor spaces.
- She is celebrating 32 years of marriage with her husband!
Why Julia joined the Klompen Stampers Team:
“When I was a demonstrator the first time, I took anything that was offered to make you a better demonstrator. Something I saw people talking about online was this Demonstrator Boot Camp offered by this person named Jackie Bolhuis. I took the course; it was an absolute game changer. I did everything that Captain Jackie told us we had to do and was simply amazed at the results. She was beyond correct. All the tips and tricks given to us in the Boot Camp were gold! So when I decided to join up again, it was a no brainer for me. I wanted to be on Jackie’s team all the way!”

I have to admit that Country Birdhouse did not stand out to me at first in the new catalog. I did like it, but I wasn’t very inspired by it. After seeing Julia’s cards I instantly fell in love and had to get it for myself! Her cards are simple and elegant, and I know you’ll easily be able to make them!
