Hi stamping friends, it’s Jesi here taking over Jackie’s blog again! I’m super excited to share with you all today some no stamping card designs that I made by following a few of Dave and Jackie’s card making templates. And I’m downsizing their original templates to fit onto note cards. These are super easy cards to make and perfect for beginners. All you need to make these is a pack of Note Cards & Envelopes, a pack of your favorite Designer Series Paper, an Ephemera Pack for greetings, and some adhesive!
For my project today I’m creating with my new favorite paper, the Full of Life DSP, to be the focal image of my cards. And these are no stamping card designs because I’m using the brand new Saying Something Ephemera Pack from the new mix & match product line. The different ephemera packs are so neat and perfect for beginner stampers!
No Stamping Card Designs Video Tutorial
These no stamping card designs are so easy to make and perfect for beginner card makers with limited supplies. Join me as I share how to make two note cards at once and an easy tip for gluing the die-cut words from the ephemera pack – just make sure you put the glue on the right side!! (Hahaha… this will make more sense when you watch the video!)

Card Details & Measurements
To make these cards I used Stampin’ Up! Note Cards & Envelopes, these are so easy to create with because the card bases are pre-cut and scored. The first card layout was inspired by template #8 and the second card layout was inspired by template #7, both from Volume 2 of the card making template series. The third card layout was inspired by template #4 from Volume 1 of the series. Following these card templates makes designing with DSP so easy!
To downsize the original card templates to fit the note cards, here are the measurements I used:
Note Card 1, Template #8:
- DSP: 3″ x 3″
- DSP: 3″ x 1 1/2″
Note Card 2, Template #7:
- DSP (center piece): 1 1/2″ x 4 3/4″
- DSP – 2 pieces (sides): 3/4″ x 4 3/4″
Note Card 3, Template #4:
- DSP: 4 1/4″ x 1″
- DSP: 4 1/4″ x 2″
And then to finish off the note cards, I added the greetings I liked from the Saying Something Ephemera Pack. That’s it – super simple and no stamping required!
And here are the same note card designs but made with the Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper. As I shared in the video, these note cards were made by Jackie! I was sharing with her how I use her card making templates but downsize them to fit notecards and she gave it a try herself!
