Serious question… why are critters scary in person but SO CUTE on cards? If I had a mouse in my house I would scream for Dave and run, but these cards have me wanting to hug one! And that’s exactly what I’m trying to do with this project today, spread hugs by sending love through cards! Because that’s why we make cards, right?
Today I want to share with you a simple card layout to make two cards at once. I designed my cards using the Hearts & Hugs Bundle, but you can easily take this layout and design the focal image with any stamp set you have. Sending love through cards can be accomplished with any product because all that matters is it is handmade.

Hearts & Hugs Card Details
This card layout is to make two cards at once! So when you follow the measurements below, make sure to cut two card bases and two card backings. The DSP will cut so you have one piece for each card.
My focal image circles are from the Spotlight on Nature Dies. These dies are amazing!! So fun to have different border patterns on the different circle sizes.

MEASUREMENTS:
- Basic Beige card base: 8″ x 5 1/4″, score at 4″
- Night of Navy card backing: 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
- DSP: 4″ x 4″, cut diagonally (giving you two pieces, one for each card)
To complete my card fronts, I used Stampin’ Blends to color the cute animals and used the Hearts & Hugs Dies to easily cut them out.
For the card insides, I stamped and colored the same mouse on a Basic White layer that is 3 3/4″ x 5″. Then I stamped a different sentiment to change the card for the occasion!
