Free Christmas Card Ideas To Kick Start Your Holiday Crafting Session

’Tis the season to share some of my free Christmas card ideas to kick start your holiday crafting session!

Time to start making Christmas cards! Did I really say that? I’m absolutely the person who will not bring Christmas into my home until after Thanksgiving but when it comes to making our Christmas cards waiting until after Thanksgiving can put us in a bind!

There are some fun NEW card designs in store for you in the coming weeks but today I’m sharing free Christmas card ideas from last year that you can use to kick start your holiday card making session.

The stamps and dies are still available for each of these card ideas, but it’s possible that the designer series paper or embellishments may not be. That’s OK–those are the things you can easily substitute.

Hopefully these will inspire you to create your own Christmas cards this year.

Poinsettia Petals Christmas Cards

This was one of my favorite stamp set and die combination from last year. Oh so elegant. And these 4 cards were all fun folds!

This stamp set is so versatile–depending on your style. You can just use the dies, or stamp and color, or just stamp and cut out–the options are endless.

Snowflake Wishes

Another fan favorite from last year for making Christmas cards was the stamp set ‘Snowflake Wishes’. This set also has coordinating dies. I have a couple different posts from last year to share.

These were some easy cards that you could make with any color scheme. Check out the video to see how easy and fun they were to make:

Here are a few “fancier” Snowflake Wishes Christmas Cards….

These window cards were so pretty. I used some gorgeous designer series paper that is no longer available, but you could easily substitute colored cardstock instead. Maybe stamp some tone-on-tone snowflakes on it. They will be elegant Christmas cards for sure!

I hope you enjoyed these free Christmas card ideas and the throwback posts while you wait for my new ideas to be revealed soon. Maybe you already have these stamps & dies–now you have more ideas.

You can still order most of the items used in these Christmas card designs from last year, just substitute for the papers & embellishments that are now retired.

Thanks for stopping by. I will be back next week with some new fun projects for you.
