If you know me, you know a few of my favorite ways to make quick & easy cards are by keeping it simple, following card templates, and to design with DSP. So here is a fun card making idea to combine all of my favorite things while adding in a love of doodling! Fun fact about me: I’m a huge doodler. I’ve always found that keeping my hands busy can help keep my focus on other tasks. And one day I accidentally found myself doodling on some Designer Series Paper and loved the look of it!! So today I’m sharing this fun card making idea with you all… instead of “Design with DSP” we’re going to “Doodle on DSP!”
For this fun Doodling project, I used the 2024 – 2026 In Colors Designer Series Paper. I’ve been LOVING the new In Colors and find myself creating with them often! If you don’t have these colors but like this pattern to doodle on, don’t worry, this print comes in all the color groups 6″ x 6″ packs. And then for all my sentiments I used the stamp set Simply Said, another product I’ve been loving since it has a greeting for every occasion!
Fun Doodle On DSP Video Tutorial
Join me as we enjoy some doodling… and then make notecards by following some Card Making Templates! I actually was inspired by my daughter Jesi with her notecard templates. She’s done a few videos of using my templates but shrinking them to fit onto notecards, and that’s exactly what I did here!

Note Card Template Card Details
These note card layouts were inspired by different Card Making Templates that we have made throughout our free video series. I used my favorite Basic White Note Cards & Envelopes as the card bases. These come in a pack of 20, pre-cut and scored, and keep card making super easy! I’m sharing the note card measurements here, but if you would like the measurements to create these layouts on a standard size card the free class will be linked for each template.
