I can not believe how time flies and that June 30th is right around the corner. It will be a sad day for me as the stamp set that I had the honor to design, ‘Happy Thoughts’, will retire.
And another favorite, ‘Pretty Perennials’ will also retire.
These 2 stamp sets are so perfect together, and they have been my “go to” recommendation to new card makers. With just a few basic supplies, you can create so many beautiful cards.
The Perfect Stamp Set Pair Retiring from the Stampin’ Up! Mini Catalog
I like to call these stamp sets the perfect pair. When I designed HAPPY THOUGHTS, my total concept was to have a “go to” greeting set that would pair with any images you like. In this case–the perfect floral stamps.
But, you can also pair it with other images–whether it’s trees, birds, lighthouses, leaves, or whatever… it will pair perfectly.
Getting Started
Like I started out with, these 2 stamp sets have been my perfect recommendation to new stampers. I featured them often and used them as my suggestion when people ask “how to start.” Now I will have to come up with some other good starter sets! But you’ll want to make sure you grab these 2 set from the Stampin’ Up! retired list.

It will be sad to say good-bye in a couple weeks to the Happy Thoughts stamp set. I highly recommend this stamp set to have on hand to use any time you need to make a card. You can use it with just about any other stamp set you have!

Someone sent me a box with 2 each of the SAB DSPs and one each of the SAB stamp sets, plus the birch background and the Color & Contour bundle, and I have no idea who sent it. Needless to say, I am very well set for DSP, except of course, we all NEED Expressions in Ink DSP.
I will use your stamp set until I wear it out. I love it and I’m sad to see it go.

Jackie, your stamp set is one of the best stamp sets that Stampin Up has and I can not believe they made the decision to retire it! I love it because it has sentiments that are “ innies and outies” You did a spectacular job designing it ❤️❤️❤️ I’m hoping they rethink their decision.

I’m so glad I came across your ‘Getting Started’ Video when I did and got both of these stamp sets ordered before they retire. Based on your video I also ordered a set of In Colors, but decided on the new 2021-2023 because they will be around for longer. I can’t wait to receive my order and get started. I did not know that you designed the “Happy Thoughts” and I absolutely love that stamp set and reach for it all the time! I bought the Pretty Perennials” but have not used it yet but I love all the cards you made using both these stamp sets. So thanks for all the inspiration. So sad to see the Happy Thoughts set retired:(
I know but just because it’s retired doesn’t mean you can’t use it! I’m sure I’ll be using it in my craft room for many years to come!
