Today I want to share stamping with markers and how to get unique looks with them. Yesterday I shared with you the difference in coloring with Stampin’ Blends and Stampin’ Write Markers, and why I BY FAR prefer the Stampin’ Blends. But….that doesn’t mean I never use my markers. Markers definitely have their place in my stamp room and I am going to show how to combine markers & stamp pads on your image.
Stamping with markers is an easy way to get a multi-colored image. We are using the ROOTED IN NATURE stamp set….it’s a perfect set for making masculine cards! And I am going to make a SIP CARD today!!! (I know you guys love the SIP cards!!!!)

In the past I have shared a lot of different cards with this stamp set, and towards the bottom of the post I will put pictures of all the past cards with a link so that you can go back to those original posts. That way, you will have a TON OF IDEAS for this stamp set! It’s a MUST HAVE, so, if you don’t have it yet, you just might want to pick it up on your next order!
And remember–order from me and you will be able to earn FREE PRODUCTS–check out my REWARDS PROGRAM here.
Stamping With Markers: How To Combine Markers & Stamp Pads On Your Image
Let’s get to the video for today so you can see how stamping with markers works. And, I have a super quick and easy SIP CARD to share.
I hope you liked the easy way to get multi colors on your stamped image. When you do this, it adds dimension and depth to your image.

Card Recipes
Ready for the card recipes??? With these and the video, you can easily make the cards I share. Remember, if you need to purchase any products to make these cards, you can scroll to the bottom of this post for a complete list and just click on any picture to place your order.

Recipe:
- Notecards & Envelopes
- Whisper White: 4 1/2″ x 3″
- Early Espresso: 4 5/8″ x 3 1/8″
Make sure to scroll all the way to the bottom of the post for a complete list of all supplies used

Card #2
Check out the multiple colors on the stamped images! Make sure to watch the video to see how I did that.

Recipe:
- Crumb Cake: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
- Whisper White: 4 1/2″ x 3″
- Early Espresso: 4 5/8″ x 3 1/8″
The stamped layer is the same size as the first card, it’s just then placed on a 1/2 sheet of Crumb Cake for the card base, rather than a notecard.

Your demonstration has a beautiful delivery! I love the cards that were created as well. It gave me ideas to use some of my older sets! Thank you. The fun thing about this craft is that there is always something to learn! ?
There sure is….I feel as I learn something new everyday!
I do have a great Stampin Up dealer but want to tell you how much I love your videos and ideas. You are my favorite go to person. Thanks so much for all you do and show us.
You are welcome.
Thanks for the tip on adding a different color to just parts of your stamp. I struggled with how to do that.
So glad you like my tip!
Love your videos
thanks
Love the ease of your cards. I have a suggestion for you. Instead of inking the tree in solid green and then trying to do the branches and trunk in brown, I find it easier to just use a green marker on the needles and brown for the branches and trunk, huff on the stamp and stamp it. I do a lot of coloring with markers, especially using the Misti, as it can be stamped multiple times to get the shade you want. Just thought I’d pass that hint on to you.
Yes, that absolutely works also. I sometimes do it that way as well, just depends on the stamp for me.
Jackie, Love your simple, easy classy style!
Thanks so much Penny!
I love your videos as I always learn so much. Thanks you for sharing them.
