It’s been a crazy couple of months with the end of the 2017 catalog and the beginning of the Brand New 2018 Stampin’ Up! Catalog. It’s time to feature something new so today I am bringing you Stamping Made Simple Using Accented Blooms Stamp Set. I am also sharing some of the new colors!
I am so ready to get settled back into a regular sharing schedule with you and feature lots of quick and easy cards. If you have followed me for awhile, you will know that I am all about the “quick & easy!” Most of my cards are made in less than 10 minutes and don’t require a ton of supplies. But remember, quick and easy does not mean the cards have to look boring! As we kick off this new catalog, I am also going to try to focus more on sharing lots of ideas with one stamp set. I used to do this a lot and feel I have strayed away from me.
I am hoping to feature one stamp set each week and share lots of varied ideas–different layouts, techniques, folds, etc.
My goal has always been to make sure that if you purchase something–you use it. Hopefully by sharing quite a few ideas over a short period of time with a stamp set, it will help you decide if if you like it. Let’s get this party started with Stamping Made Simple Using Accented Blooms Stamp Set.

Look at these fun bright colors! They are 3 of the brand new 2018-2020 In Colors. This stamp set also coordinates with the Tailored Tag Punch. I know that many of you picked this up during the Occasions Catalog, so I am super excited that Stampin’ Up! designed another stamp set that works so perfect with it. If you don’t have the punch, you could hand cut the greeting, but this punch is a must have. I know I will be using it a lot on many different projects!

Make It Monochromatic
These three cards are all monochromatic, meaning just one color is used (with the addition of black & white.).
Card Recipe
- THICK Whisper White: 8 1/2″ x 4 1/4″, scored and folded at 4 1/4″. (NOTE: the finished card is 4 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ and it fits perfectly in the regular medium sized envelope and does not require additional postage to mail)
- Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the 2018-2020 In Color 6″ x 6″ Pack: 4″ x 4″
- Basic Black: 3 3/8″ x 3 3/8″
- Shimmery White: 3 1/4″ x 3 1/4″
- Whisper White Scrap for greeting
