There has been so much buzz about all the new colors that Stampin’ Up! just came out with, so today’s Stampin’ Up! Catalog Tour Part 2: Color Collection with Accented Blooms Stamp Set will help you learn where to find all the new products and new colors in the catalog.  We will also take a closer look at some of the new colors and how they compare to the older colors.  At Stampin’ Up! it’s all about color and color coordination!  When I first started stamping (many, many years ago) that is what attracted me to Stampin’ Up!.  THE COLORS!  I knew that I could never go wrong when I used the coordinating inks, card stocks, papers and embellishments.  And now, with the “Color Refresh” there is even more to love!

Stampin’ Up! Catalog Tour Part 2: Color Collection with Accented Blooms Stamp Set

Turn your catalog to page 4 and you will see the entire collection of colors.  It says “New!” by each of the colors that are new this year.  Each year they also introduce 5 NEW IN COLORS.  What are IN COLORS?  They are a collection of more trendy colors that will be in the catalog for 2 years.  So each year they retire 5 In Colors, and introduce 5 new ones.  The catalog will always then have 10 In Colors that are not a part of the core collection.  These are the 5 new In Colors that were introduced this year and will be available until May 2020:

New Core Colors

This year they added 10 brand new CORE COLORS.  These will be around for a long time and are part of all the different collections (how they organize them)

They also brought back from old favorites.  These were once “In Colors” and are now returning as “core colors.”

New Colors in the Brights Collection

Besides talking about all the different new colors, today I want to share a “stamping made simple” card with you that features the new colors that are part of the brights collection.  Purchasing the ink pads in a collection saves you money and ensures that you have 10 colors that work together beautifully.  There is no guessing what goes with what when you use colors from a group.  This card uses the Accented Blooms that you have been seeing a lot of from me, as well as an older set called Wood Words.

• Card Base:  8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
• Whisper White:  4″ x 2 3/4″
• Basic Black:  4 1/8″ x 2 7/8″
• Inside:  Whisper White:  5 1/4″ x 4″
