Simple Handmade Cards Start with a SIP – Then Step it Up!
Remember, making simple handmade cards does not have to be overwhelming, especially when starting. You don’t need a lot of supplies! Start with a SIP – stamps, ink, and paper!
Then, step it up a little with a couple of card stock layers.
For the middle card (above and below), I simply added:
- Basic White Layer: 2 1/2″ x 4″
- Black Layer: 2 5/8″ x 4 1/8″
These are layered onto the same note card that I made the first card on. Can you see how easy it is to step it up with a little cardstock!
A little more “step up!” On the 3rd card, I added a layer of Designer Series Paper, as well as punched or cut out the images! Super Simple handmade cards with quite a WOW!
- Designer Series Paper: 3″ x 4 1/2″
- Basic Black Layer: 3 1/8″ x 4 5/8″
Because I thought these simple handmade cards were so cute, I had to share a couple more pictures! They look so cute next to the little potted plants on my shelf, don’t they?
