Simple Fun Fold Card Layout & Country Birdhouse Ideas

Let’s make a simple fun fold card layout with a large focal area that allows you to create a beautiful scene! This fun fold was not a template we made during our Fun Fold Card Templates Series, but you can easily follow along with the video tutorial below and make a template to add to your shoebox.

I’m designing my simple fun fold card today with the Country Birdhouse Bundle and some Country Woods DSP. My focal area is a little more intricate than my normal quick & easy card making since I use a lot of die-cut pieces and do some coloring with Stampin’ Blends, but I promise this is still an easy card to make. And that’s what’s so great about this card layout, you have room to design a beautiful detailed scene or keep it simple!

Country Birdhouse Card Measurements

We have lots of Country Birdhouse card ideas to share with you! First up, the simple fun fold card we made in the video tutorial. Make sure to watch it to see how it folds and my easy tips to assemble it. And if you don’t have the bundle that I created with here, grab your favorite stamp set and get creative with this large focal area!

• Basic Beige Card Base: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and 8 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ (little card)
  • Score larger piece at 3″, 6″, 7 1/4″
• DSP: 5 1/4″ x 2 3/4″ and 5 1/4″ x 1″
• Basic White – (2) Pieces: 3 1/4″ x 4″

As I mentioned in the video, our Klompen Stampers Artisan Crafter from last month, Julia Sager, shared these three card ideas designed with the Country Birdhouse Bundle. I wasn’t very inspired by this bundle at first, but after seeing Julia’s cards I fell in love with it.
