I love teaching quick & easy card making projects that anyone can make – and I have an adorable project to share with you today! When you have fun patterned paper to create with, it is super easy to make cute cards that will put a smile on anyone’s face. And I have a feeling that you’re going to smile when you see the cards I have to share with you. Let’s do some quick & easy card making with adorable patterned paper!

The patterned paper that I used to create these adorable duck and frog cards is Stampin’ Up! Lily Pond Designer Series Paper. In this specific pack of paper, one side is covered with scenes of ducks, lily pads, and wetlands, while the other side has all-purpose prints for everyday crafting.

Lily Pond Card Details & Measurements
The first card is the one that we designed in the video tutorial. Make sure to give it a watch so you can truly see how quick & easy card making can be! The hardest part of making this card was deciding what scene from the patterned paper I wanted to have as the focal image for my card. The second card is the same simple layout, but instead of adding the DSP strip, I stamped the sentiment on the layer of Basic White and added a die-cut duck to fill in the white space.

MEASUREMENTS:
- Card Base: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″
- Basic White: 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Lily Pond DSP Strip: 1/2″ x 4″
