Quick and Easy Card Making with Designer Series Paper

Sometimes the best cards are the ones that let the paper do most of the work. Today’s quick and easy card features Designer Series Paper with a larger-scale pattern that becomes the focal point of the design. Instead of covering up the beautiful paper with lots of layers and embellishments, this project highlights the artwork and shows how a simple layout can create a stunning card. It’s a great reminder that you don’t need complicated techniques or dozens of supplies to make something beautiful. Be sure to watch the video tutorial below, where I share all the details for creating this card along with tips for getting the most from your Designer Series Paper.

For today’s quick and easy card, I’m using the Lovely Arrangements Bundle (stamps and dies) along with the beautiful Lovely Blossoms Designer Series Paper. The large floral images in this paper make it easy to create a stunning focal point without a lot of extra work, making it perfect for quick and easy card making. The dies and embellishments add the finishing touches, but the real star of this project is the Designer Series Paper. If you have other papers with larger focal images or bold patterns, this idea can be a great source of inspiration for your own card making.
