So often people tell me that they struggle making cards because they just don’t know where to start or how to design the layout. I am here to help! When you follow my free card making templates as your guide, designing a card layout has never been easier. You can follow them exactly, or change them up. Keep them simple, or step them up! Think of card making templates as a “pattern” and your starting point.
Each month we do a FREE Card Making Templates class on YouTube. Follow along with us each month and make four new templates, and then, use your templates over and over to create your cards. I keep all my templates in a little box and when I want to create, I flip through them to find the one that inspires me. I have all the measurements written on the template so it’s super easy to create!
Make Your Own Templates
All four of these cards were made using the card templates from Volume 5 of our class. If you missed it, just CLICK HERE to watch the video. Follow along to make your own templates and help keep your future card making easy! I have to kinda laugh at myself because I designed all these templates for YOU, but I use them all the time when I want to make some quick and easy cards!
When using the templates, especially with these cards where the DSP is the focus, you can add any sentiment to the card to make it for any occasion. Need a birthday card? No problem – add “Happy Birthday.” How about a Thank You card, or Thinking of You, or Sympathy… they would all work. You might even want to make up a batch of designed cards and leave the greetings off, then add them later as you need a quick card. The sentiments I used for these cards are all from the stamp set Earthen Textures.
