  1. Hello.
I have been making cards for 25 years or more. I volunteer at assisted living home to help seniors make cards. It is upsetting that you’re sure will not let me print out the directions to make a card. Instead I have to recoup everything by hand. Other card artists are more friendly and encouraging to their readers. Crafters help other crafters.

    • Sorry you don’t like the way I provide instructions both via my blog as well as a video. I spend hours and hours every day providing instructions completely free to all of my followers. I am not quite sure what else you expect? You certainly can print out the instructions from the blog if you want.

    • Crafters help crafters huh, Joan? Well I think Jackie does a GREAT job at being encouraging and helping other crafters. She breaks down the card (even if its not in a printable format) and shows you with video. What more do you need? Her to do your project too? I’m sorry but the time it takes Jackie to record and edit her videos and come up with ideas is more then enough. Just deal or move on. It is not that hard to print of the instructions if you write them down and type it yourself.

  4. Hi Jackie

I was really interested in using xmas paper for something other than xmas, but your always helpful information did not come through. Perhaps you could see what happened or try again to make it so we could all enjoy your helpfulness.
Thanks for everything you do to help us, and bring new ideas to us at least three times per week. I don’t think I understand Joan’s comment above. If it is a putdown, pay it no mind.
    Best wishes,
    Karren

It will post again, for real this time, in a week or so. Meanwhile, I hope you enjoy today’s gift card holder idea.

Thanks so much for the kind words. I do my best to bring tons of free content to all of you and I spend hours each day designing, creating/editing videos, writing blog posts and taking all of the photos. The fact is, this is my business and while I love giving ya’ll free stuff I have to have the occasional “sales” video for my card classes and kits and I can’t please everyone. I do my best though and I appreciate your words of support Karren! Have a stamp happy day!!

  5. I am soooo in love with this gift card holder idea! I watched the video yesterday and made several today. Oh…my…gosh. I will be making a whole bunch of these up. Seems like whenever I get ready to send gift cards, I don’t have a holder card made up. And the ones I see…as I’m in a gigantic hurry…take way too much time! This turned out so very pretty. I used fall papers and colors for my adult granddaughter’s birthday gift card. Thanks so much for sharing this idea through your video. I’m a new subscriber and plan to follow all your videos and blog. Your cards are gorgeous!
