Have you heard about ONE SHEET WONDER card making templates? If not, it’s a fun way to use up some of that Designer Series Paper stash and make some quick and easy cards. Today, we are changing it up a bit with a DOUBLE ONE SHEET WONDER. It’s basically the same, except rather than using one 12″ x 12″ sheet of paper, we are using two 6″ x 12″ pieces. This gives us four different prints to mix and match on our cards!
I love this double one sheet wonder template that was shared several years ago by Stampin’ Up! It is a fun (and easy) way to make a stack of 11 cards. You can add any greeting you want, or “step up” the cards by adding additional images, layers, or embellishments. Once you have the basic template for the the double one sheet wonder, the ideas are endless!

If you have never created using a double one sheet wonder template, I hope you give this a try. All you need is some Designer Series Paper, coordinating card stock and some greeting stamps.
How to Use the Double One Sheet Wonder Template
In the video I show you how easy it is to cut your Designer Series Paper using this easy to follow template. Just grab two 6″ x 12″ pieces of DSP and cut along with me. You can start and stop the video and follow right along! I also have a PDF you can download with the cutting diagram as well as all the measurements to the cards.

In the video I show how to cut all of the Designer Series Paper to make all 11 of the cards. There are two different sets of four cards that are made at the same time by mixing and matching the different prints. That is what is fun about a double one sheet wonder – you have four different paper patterns to play around with.
Honestly, I think the hardest part of this project is deciding how to mix and match the pieces!
Here are the first four cards. And don’t forget, you can turn the orientation of the cards whatever way you want.

Next we moved on to the second set of four cards. Again, it was a struggle just mixing and matching the prints. Sometimes you have to just STOP and call it good!
I used the Framed Florets stamp set for all my greetings, but with this design you can use whatever greetings you have or want, depending on what kind of cards you want to create!

And then here are the final three cards. Two are the same, and then the last one is a loner. You only get one of this design with this double one sheet wonder template! If you like the projects I used, you can click the button below to view them all and order anything you would like.
The Designer Series Paper that I used for these cards is called DESIGN A DAYDREAM and is a “host” item that is available with Stampin’ Rewards when you place an order of $150 or more. The template and ideas are designed so that you can use ANY DESIGNER SERIES PAPER – so grab your favorite and create away!

Hi Rachel! I’m glad you liked my tutorial, the OSW is truly a great technique to use!
These are terrific. Love the fact the two 1/2 sheets of DSP give you 4 different prints to use. What a fun way to make 11 cards quickly…except for deciding what papers to put together!!
