Wow! These cards are dressed to impress! These joyful, uplifting beauties are simple cards to make and will be the ‘little black dress’ of greeting cards this season.
The best word to describe today’s cards — fun! I truly had fun making these cards. They make a bold statement. But it’s not just about the cards today, I have several things techniques teach you. Whether you like these stamps or not, make sure to check out the video to learn how to get different shades of color on your cards and how to easily stamp random patterns.
We are using the stamp that is called ‘Dressed to Impress’ from the Stampin’ Up! 2020 Spring/Summer Mini catalog. It’s part of the BEST DRESSED suite of products, but we are using just the stamp set. Recently I’ve had a lot of people ask me about the the “scribbly” images in some of the stamp sets and how to use them. This set is a great example of that so I share how I use them in this video. I like to call these “blobs.”

Dressed to Impress Card Recipes
All of the cards are made with the same size supplies:
- Card Base: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ (Melon Mambo, Whisper White or Smoky Slate)
- Whisper White: 3 1/4″ x 4 1/2″
- Basic Black: 3 3/8″ x 4 5/8″
