Hello stamping friends! It’s Jesi here, taking over Jackie’s blog again! I had so much fun sharing my last project using Dave & Jackie’s templates that I’m back doing it again. Their card making template resources are the BEST for beginner stampers like myself. And yes, I am a beginner. I’ve always created card kits because they are easy and I didn’t have to piece products together. I’m now just starting to design my own cards. And the easiest way to do that is to be inspired by a card making template!
I’m really excited to share with you again today some of my quick beginner tips. I’m focusing on shrinking down the card templates to fit onto notecards – because as I start learning to make cards, using notecards & envelopes is the easiest thing to do!

I made these coffee card designs using the Stampin’ Up! Latte Love Bundle after being inspired by Template # 1 from Volume 1 and Template #23 from Volume 6 from Jackie’s card making template resources. Latte Love Card Templates Video
As a coffee lover, I had a lot of fun creating with this set and hope you do too! I’m sharing a few beginner tips on how to turn any card into a gift card holder, how to follow a template but make it a notecard size, along with how to cut your cardstock down to a notecard size so you can make cards with any color card base.
