Send A Smile With A Card Designed With Bright Skies

We’re getting close to the launch of the 2024 – 2025 Annual Catalog, and I’m excited to share another project with you all using the Bright Skies Bundle. I’m featuring this stamp set again because 1- it’s adorable, and 2- it’s an encore product! Encore products are popular items from past catalogs that have rolled over into the new annual catalog. Think of them as a chance to rediscover fun products. So if you missed out on getting Bright Skies during its release in the Spring Mini Catalog, you don’t need to worry, this stamp set is sticking around for another year.

Last project I made using the Bright Skies Bundle I kept it super simple and made some quick notecards. Today, we’re stepping it up a little! These are some fun and cheerful designs to make that will send a smile with a card.

Bright Skies Card Details

A great way to send a smile with a card is to make and mail a fun fold card! The first two cards I have to share with you are fun folds that are templates in my Fun Fold Book. And then the third card is a regular folded card, but it’s super colorful and textured and I think you’re going to love it! For details on all the colors used to make these cards, you’ll find the full supply list after all the card images.

A triple panel standing fun fold card that is designed with pink clouds and rain with a sentiment that reads sprinkled with love. The card is lying on top of an instruction sheet on how to make the fun fold.

Let’s start with inspiration to make a triple panel standing fun fold card! This fun fold template was created in Volume 4 of our series, so you can get all the measurements and instructions to make it HERE. Or, if you have a copy of my book you’ll find how to make it on Page 14.

What’s most unique about this card inspiration is where those two little hearts came from. Any guesses? They’re punched from the Bee Builder Punch – another encore item! So let this be a quick tip… don’t be afraid to mix and match products!

A double box fun fold card that has an outdoor scene with tulips, grass, sun, and cloud. The card is lying on top of an instruction sheet on how to make the fun fold.

For our second fun fold card inspiration, we’re making a double box fun fold card! This template was also created in Volume 4 of our series, in which you can get all the measurements and instructions to make it HERE. Or, if you have a copy of my book you’ll find how to make it on Page 15.

Are you able to figure out why this has quickly become a favorite stamp set of mine? Yup – the tulips!! With my love of tulips… of course I’m going to fall in love with any stamp set that has some!

If you don’t want to make a fun fold card, this focal layer would also be great to make and adhere to a standard card front. It’s a cute scenery that would definitely send a smile with a card.

A simple white card that has colorful clouds and a sun on it with a sentiment that reads "you brighten my cloudy days. The card was created with the Stampin' Up! stamp set Bright Skies.

And now, our final Bright Skies card inspiration for today! It may look like a standard size card, but we shrunk it just a little – just for fun! This Basic White card base is 5 1/4″ x 8″, scored and folded at 4″. Then a Basic White 5″ x 3 3/4″ that was embossed.

The Bright Skies stamp set comes with two textured cloud stamps that can be cut out. But to add texture to these three front clouds, I used the smaller image stamps to randomly stamp on the clouds, giving them each a different look.

Do you now love this stamp set as much as I do? If you want more card inspiration for creating with it, CLICK HERE for my post with notecard ideas!
