  1. Jackie would this card be considered a clean and simple card? I have a swap that calls for a clean and simple Christmas card. I am not sure what clean and simple is.

    Thank You,
    Sally

    • This is definitely simple but I wouldn’t consider it clean and simple. “Clean” typically means there is a lot of ‘white space’ in the card. I would suggest you go to Pinterest and search the phrase “clean and simple christmas cards” and you’ll get some ideas that way.

  2. Thank You for the step by step instructions which is most helpful for me. Couldn’t come at a better time as I just bought a pack of double-sided paper.
Your cards are lovely and so simple to make. Great cards to make for my next years cards that I have already started in making. Wasn’t able to find the time to make many this year so wanted to make sure that I have my cards all made and done for next year.
I have a feeling that I will be making many birthday, thank you, thinking of you, etc. cards using this technique.
In fact, I will be making a card for my cousin ( she was a cancer survivor) of which I just found out Monday that she now has bone cancer.

Wishing you, your family & Everyone a Very Merry Christmas. May your holiday be bright & safe.

    • I’m so sorry to hear about your cousin; I know the cards you make will be an encouragement to her and all the others you create for. Thanks for watching and being here. Have a stamp happy day!

  4. So glad I saw this on Pinterest. I’m going to make a bunch of these. Easy and beautiful. Thanks so much. I have so much of this paper left over from last year. I love it – very rustic, country vibe.

  5. Simple to make, but stylish cards. I will use your design during small Christmas workshop I will give in an Activity Center in my neighborhood. I was searching for several different quick to make cards, and your design will definitely be a winner. Thanks from The Netherlands!

  7. Always enjoy your card ideas! This card combines color theory of quilting with cardmaking – I find this so artistically satisfying. Bonus is using papers I don’t gravitate to by combining them with papers I like in this style of card. You are my favorite SU demonstrator.
