I love to cheer up my friends with beautiful handmade cards. This step-by-step tutorial will ensure your card turns out perfect! The Quiet Meadow stamp set is amazing, and quite addicting to play with.
Today I am sharing a card where I stamp several layers with different inks and stamps to create a collage. You will love the many possibilities that this stamp set brings to your craft table.

We are also talking in the video today about how to “see” an idea and then tweak it to make it your own. It’s a matter of learning to look at other cards, and pick out what you like – is it the colors? the layout? the stamps? No matter what, you can learn to make beautiful handmade cards!

Where I Got My Inspiration
I am often asked, “where do you get your inspiration and ideas for your handmade cards?”
For this card, my inspiration came from a card I got from Shelli Garnder, Founder of Stampin’ Up! It was for when I hit a sales milestone and it sure made my day receiving a card from Shelli.
It really reminded me of the importance of sending cards to others, especially with a heartfelt message inside.

You can see Shelli’s gorgeous card on the left, and then my take on it on the right. Sometimes we get too hung up and exactly what a card looks like, rather than looking at it for inspiration and ideas.

I hope you like this handmade card and learned a little bit and a few stamping tips along the way.
If you have any questions, make sure to leave me a comment or send me an email–I love to hear from you and help you in any way that I can.
