Let’s DIY Birthday cards that make your heart lighter with the best Weenie dog ever! These are adorable handmade cards anyone can make in minutes. AND I’ve got plenty of tips on using the Stampin’ Blends too–the best alcohol based markers on the market!

I had so much fun making these cards and I think I had a smile on my face the whole time! I am a bit partial to Dachshunds because one of my grand-dogs is a “weenie dog” as we call her. We also have a grand-dog that is a chiweenie. Whether you like Dachshunds or not, I hope these cards put a big smile on your face!

Card Details

The details are quite simple for these cards as they are all made using the Notecards & envelopes (they come in a pack of 20) along with a little coordinating cardstock.

Card Measurements

• Stampin’ Up! Note Cards & Envelopes
• Basic White layer for front: 2 3/4″ x 4 1/4″
• Coordinating color layer for front: 2 7/8″ x 4 3/8″
• Basic White for inside: 3″ x 4 1/2″
• Coordinating color layer for inside: 3 1/8″ x 4 5/8″

I had just as much fun stamping and coloring the insides as I did the outsides.

They are all colored using the Stampin’ Blends. Colors I used are: Cinnamon Cider, Daffodil Delight, Poppy Parade, Bermuda Bay, and the light Crumb Cake

Meet Sage Weenie & Lucas

Just had to share…. this is why I love these cards so much! These are 2 of my grand dogs–Sage Weenie and Lucas. Sage is the one in the “hot dog” costume and is a mini Dachshund and Lucas is a ChiWeenie. My mother also has a ChiWeenie!
