Die Cuts for Card Making That Burst Your Heart With Colorful Cheer

I can’t wait to show you die cuts for card making that burst your heart with colorful cheer. Need a birthday card? Thank you card? These die cuts will blow your mind with their cuteness!

The flowers are made with the Pierced Blooms dies, which are a part of a bundle with a stamp set, but I did not use the stamp set on today’s cards–just the die cuts today. I used the ‘Happy Thoughts’ stamp set for my stamped greetings.

In this tutorial I show you die cuts for card making and how to make 5 different cards with them.

Die Cuts for Card Making You’ll Love Spring & Summer!

I think working with die cuts and die cutting in general is not only easy but sometimes it’s quicker than pulling out a bunch of stamps. I love how using the die cuts for my various cards and scrapbook pages adds such depth and dimension to the cards. Know what else is special about these die cuts? There are stitch lines right on the flowers and leaves that are AMAZING!

What type of project would you use die cuts like this for? Don’t you love the stitched lines on them too? Let me know! I had so much fun putting them together after cutting out a bunch of pieces. Mix and match them and create a way!

You can refer back to my past post on die cutting tips with the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine.

Card From Video

Die cuts for card making can be layered on your DIY card or scrapbook page.

This is the card I created in the video. It is the perfect card to send to someone–JUST BECAUSE. We all love getting happy mail.

I have a project sheet that you can download that will give you all the measurements and supplies I used. This will make it easy for you if you’d like to create these cards.

More Card Ideas With These Dies + Happy Thoughts

On these 2 handmade cards I used die cut flowers in pink, purple, and yellow cardstock.

The ideas are endless with these dies! You can create away with all the pieces.

I think die cuts for card making is a simple and quick way to make Birthday cards or Thinking of you cards.

  1. Beautiful bright cards to cheer up anyone’s day. Worthy of framing! You could also make up a kit of the pieces to send a friend who could make the card too.

I am not familiar with the product you mentioned–that is not something Stampin’ Up! sells, I’m sorry.

  3. I am almost 80 and still interested in making cards but not good on the computer. I would like to order but don’t know how. Is there a phone number that I can call and place my order? I love the cards and dies–pierced bloom dies and happy thoughts sayings and the flower stamps. My phone number is 248-698-1996
    Thank You…. Sherry

    • I’m sorry you are having trouble Marcia. I just tested the link in a private window and although there is a sign in button in the top right it doesn’t require you to sign in to print or download it. I would suggest you try again or try from a different device. Also, in case it helps I tested this in google chrome browser.
