3 Different Card Layouts Makes 6 Easy Cards!
Card Idea #1
Here is the first idea I share in the video. I like to call this the CUT & FLIP layout.
Simply start with a piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) that is 4″ x 5 1/4″ and cut off part of it, flip it over, and then adhere both pieces to the card front.
- HELLO CARD: I cut 1 1/2″ off the side of the DSP and flipped it
- THANK YOU CARD: I cut 2″ off the bottom of the DSP and flipped it
Easy peasy–just finish off the card anyway you want. This is a perfect layout to use with any of your pretty papers!
Card Idea #2
Have you ever colored your paper? Several of these sheets in this package of paper are black and white and perfect for coloring. I used my Stampin’ Blends but you could color any way that you like to color! Color the whole piece, or just a couple images to make them pop.
The red butterfly was colored and then punched out and layered over one on the layer with a dimensional.
Punch Out The Butterflies
Several of the papers have butterflies that fit into the Butterfly Duet Punch. Make sure to watch the video for some tips to use when punching them out to not ruin any of them and get the most out of your paper.
NOTE: The Butterfly Duet Punch is currently unavailable, but will be back in stock late March or early April–but I wanted to show you these tips and cards now as by then, this beautiful paper will not be available. So make sure to get the paper NOW, and then the punch LATER.
Card Idea #3
This is my favorite! With this design, you actually cut out the pieces for 2 cards at one time.
I used the Stitched Rectangle Framelits to make the frames. I cut one from a piece of Whisper White and the other from a piece of the DSP, then I switched the middle pieces of each to make the 2 different cards. Make sure to watch the video for tips on doing this! It’s super easy and the ideas are endless. I can’t wait to try it with other papers!
Supplies Used
The greetings on today’s cards came from a variety of stamp set. The beauty of these designs is that you can use any greeting–here are the stamp sets I got my greetings from.

My favorite cards are the ones made using the stitched rectangle framelits. So glad I ordered those framelits. Thank you for all of your inspiration.
