This time of the year we can get so wrapped up in Christmas Cards, so today I want to share some “winter cards.” These could be made as a Christmas card to wish season’s greetings, or made for any occasion this time of the year. Birthdays and other events still happen, and these winter card making ideas would be perfect to mail to your loved ones. Or, make one of these to say thank you to a holiday party host this year!
These cards were all made using the Magical Meadow stamp set, dies, and the Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper (DSP). This paper is absolutely stunning! I just love the soft watercolor look.
No video today, but these cards are very easy to make. If you already have these products, here are some good winter card making ideas for you. Magical & Winter Meadow Card Details
Here are the measurements to make these cards yourself:
TOP CARD:
- Smoky Slate: 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
- DSP: (2) 4 1/8″ x 1″ and (2) 1″ x 2 7/8″
- Basic White: 3″ x 1 3/4″
BOTTOM CARD:
- Pretty Peacock: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
- DSP: 5 1/4″ x 4″ and 3 1/4″ x 2″
- Pretty Peacock layer: 3 1/2″ x 2 1/4″
- Old Olive: 5 1/4″ x 2 1/8″
- DSP: 5 1/4″ x 1 3/4″
- Night of Navy: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
- Score at 4 1/4″ and 1 1/4″ – Fold the 1 1 /4″ panel up on the front
- DSP:
- Front top: 5 1/4″ x 2 “
- Front flap: 5 1/4″ x 1″
- Bottom: 5 1/4″ x 1″
- Basic White inside: 5 1/4″ x 2 7/8″
- Moody Mauve: 4 1/4″ x 11″
- Score at 4 1/4″ and 9 3/4″
- DSP:
- Front top: 4″ x 4″
- Front bottom: 4″ x 1″
- Inside: 3/4″ x 1″
- Basic White inside: 4″ x 5 1/4″
