I am so giddy with excitement to share my first project of 2023 and the new Stampin’ Up! January-April Mini Catalog. Plus, I can’t wait to show you how to use the Sweet Citrus Hybrid Embossing Folder so you can learn how to stamp, emboss and die cut with these beautiful products!
In the past, Stampin’ Up! has had a few other hybrid folders, and they are amazing! I was so excited to see the sweet citrus hybrid embossing folder in this catalog because it’s all about texture! And you know I love texture! I think you are really going to like it as well, and how it helps you make some quick and easy cards!
Can you see the texture on all the orange slices? It was really hard to capture it in the picture, but I can ensure you – it’s amazing! I think in the video you can see it better.

Learn to Use the Sweet Citrus Hybrid Embossing Folder
Are you ready for some fun…. in this video I will show you how to use the Sweet Citrus Hybrid Embossing Folder plus how to make this card. But for today….. let’s learn how to use the Sweet Citrus Hybrid Embossing Folder which is staple to using this bundle!
There are actually a couple different ways to use a hybrid embossing folder. They are designed so that you can CUT and EMBOSS at the same time. You put the die inside the embossing folder, along with the stamped card stock. Honestly though, I found that a little hard to line up and it took a little more strength to run it through the machine.
I much prefer to stamp, emboss and then die cut. It’s really just one more pass through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine!
Sweet Citrus Card Details
Once you stamp, emboss and die cut your citrus pieces, it’s time to put your card together. Here are the measurments:
- Card Base – Tea Boutique Cards & Envelopes
- Basic White: 2 3/4″ x 4″
- Basic Black: 2 7/8″ x 4 1/8″
- Colors: Mango Melody, Pale Papaya, Garden Green
Remember – these products will not be available until Friday, January 5, 2023….. this is just an early sneak peak at some new products coming!
Make sure to check out the video to see how I stamped the images using the Stamparatus, then I embossed them, and finally cut them! Easy peasy and so much texture! With this stamp set you can make oranges, lemons, limes and grapefruit! As I played around, I came up with so many fun color combinations!
