It’s all about stamping fun & S’mores – the surprise you will not believe. What??? You ask. Let me just say… Oh dear…….Dave hacked my stamp room again and found a new use for the embossing heat tool!

But….at least he also had some stamping fun and made me a handmade card!!!!

Stamping Fun – The Surprise You Will Not Believe:  

You will just have to watch and see, but let’s just say this family has a lot of stamping fun! Card making, scrapbooking, paper crafts of ALL kinds need a snack to go along with them, right? It makes the creative process more productive and goodness knows we have a lot of handmade cards we need to crank out around here.

I am not sure I would really recommend toasting your marshmallows in your stamp room, as he left me quite a sticky mess!!!!  But at least he got to enjoy his S’More and I got a DIY card to treasure!

Oh, you just gotta love him!!!!  Which I do dearly and he has been my #1 fan and supporter for my 25 years of sharing stamping with others!  I guess he did learn a few things from watching me all these years!!!!

Truly The Best S’mores

We make these yummy treats all the time when we are camping. They are absolutely the BEST way to make a S’more.  The “Windmill” Cookies are a brown sugar almond cookie made here locally in Michigan.  They are a “Dutch” cookie, so I am sure you can find something similar.  Since my friend introduced me to S’mores this way, I can never again eat one with Graham Crackers.  (and I think my whole family agrees with me!)

And that chocolate Peanut Butter Spread……AMAZING!

I hope you enjoyed the little bit of humor in today’s post and video. But I do have to say, if you try s’mores this way, you might just be ruined forever! They are the BEST!’

  9. Jackie, Your videos are always informative and upbeat, but this is the first one that made me giggle. Dave was so nonchalant about the the fingerprints….I’d be freaking out and starting over. And melting the marshmallow with the heat tool….which he called a heat gun!…terrific and so much fun! Thank you and thanks Dave!

  17. WOW! Great video, Dave. Love how you converted the little mistake of fingerprints into dino tracks…….could actually pass for tracks!! Great new idea for making s’mores when the weather isn’t cooperating!!!!! Who knew the stamp room had so many uses!!!! Fun to watch a man in action!

  22. Your hubby always makes me laugh. At least he makes you a card! Mine will sometimes ask if I have any extra cards. This is usually around a holiday. Have had to tell him he has to make his own. I am not making anymore cards for him to give to me. And then I am supposed to act surprised!

  32. Love Dave and his videos. I will try this method and with whips and cookies. But I must tell you another way to use the heat tool….when putting together our swimming pool this year I had to heat a hose to slide onto the pump. The heat tool worked like a charm. LOL
