Stamp along with Dave and make 11 easy greeting cards! Dave loves the company and learning how to make cards right along with you! This is fun, different, perfect for any level of card maker, and a great activity while so many of us are stuck at home!
This “stamp-a-long” video features none other than Stampin’ Dave! We want you to create right along with him to make 11 simple cards called a “double wonder.” This is an idea that was shared with me by Stampin’ Up! and I fell in love with it and wanted to share it with you. I thought about doing it as a LIVE video, but then realized how so many struggle stamping along with something live as you can not go at your own pace. So, here is my solution…. stamp along with Dave at your own pace by starting and stopping the video all you want!

How Does a Stamp-a-Long Work?
All you have to do is start and stop the video so that you can work at your own pace. At the beginning we share the supplies you need so you just hit pause and go get them. Then, when you are ready, hit play and follow along to the next step.

In the video we will show you simple cutting and scoring to make 11 cards, using any Designer Series Paper that you have! You can do this with us, whether you are a beginner card maker, or been creating for a long time and just want something fun to do.

Stamp Along With Dave- Let’s Get Started!
Set up your computer in your stamp area and get ready to stamp along with Dave! Remember, you can work at your own pace. Start and stop the video as often as you want! We will walk you through each step, from gathering your supplies, to cutting your card bases (check out the nifty trick I teach Dave) to cutting the Designer Series Paper. ENJOY!
Here are the diagrams we share in the video. Make sure to watch the video to understand how they work.

Ornate Garden Designer Series Paper
Here are the cards that I made using the Double Wonder templates and the Ornate Garden Designer Series Paper.

Remember, you can make these cards using any Designer Series Paper along with some coordinating cardstock and a “greeting” of your choice!

Thanks Deb! Have a stamp happy day!
What a guy! He is a gem! Pace was perfect for craft-aong!
I’m happy to hear you enjoyed this style of video!
Loved the stamp along with Dave making 11 cards. I enjoyed that because it didn’t make any difference what kind of paper you used so it was not as specific as some of the cards you make where you really have to use the same products as you used.
I’m glad that you enjoyed this Kay! Thanks!
Love the video! I really like this format. Dave is a good sport!
He’s a great learner and we had so much fun bringing this to all of you today!
Thank you! I love your fast easy cards. As I get older, I don’t want to sit and take two hours to make one card. I really appreciate your blog and all of your inspiration. Time to get busy!
Enjoy your card making time!
Thank you for an enjoyable time! My cards turned out cute and I used up some DSP in the process. Thnx to Dave for being a good sport!

You two did a great job again ? looking forward to another fun video !
So glad we could share some ‘virtual’ time and fun today!
Great idea of being able to pause the video while working on the projects. Using up the designer series papers is something I struggle with so thank you to you and Dave.
I’ve got a whole playlist series on YouTube on using DSP. If you haven’t checked that out be sure to do so now and bookmark it for later reference!
Enjoyed your video. What punch did you use for the greeting I could not find it in the catalog
It’s this punch here
Do you have all the cutting dimensions noted here without scrolling thru video? I can’t find them! Thank you
Sure! Please check the blog post again for template images that were added.
I love this video! Dave is such a good sport, and he did a great job!
Thanks, June! Have a stamp happy day!
I would like to see the measurements listed here as well. I made a set while watching the video and want to make some more, but didn’t write the measurements down. I really would like to be able to access them without having to watch the video again.
Please see the blog post for added template images.
I loved the stamping session with Dave. It helps that you had the dimensions printed so we could see them. I like your approach to using what we have on hand . I also like your simple card designs.please do more of these.

I loved this!!! I have tons of dsp and never how to make cards with it. I can’t wait to make several sets of these cards. I would love to see more of these.
Thanks so much!
This was a great tutorial. I did not stamp along, but will later this week. I loved the great ideas for your layouts and being able to use any DSP and stamp set to complete the cards. Thank you for doing this tutorial!
Thanks for watching! Enjoy your time when you get to make cards!
Adorable cards Jackie. Great teamwork with you and Dave. I did not actually join in the cardmaking but I certainly enjoyed the session. Thanks for sharing those ideas.
Thanks for watching! I hope you’ll be inspired some time to make some cards!
This was so much fun! All 11 done in navy and white to encourage “shut ins” during this pandemic. 🙂
That’s fantastic Jeanne!
Love, love, love this video. I have so much DSP and am committed to using it. Thank you for the ideas and layouts. Only thing I did different was to sponge around the tailored tag with a color of choice ink.
Great idea Marilyn! Have a stamp happy day!
Geeat video. Dave was a good host. Love this layout. Thanks to you and Dave for sharing.
We love sharing! Thanks for watching, Betty!

Great job, Dave and oh yes Jackie too.
Thanks for sharing and a great training video.
I’ve been card making for years, but can always
learn something new.
Blessings
Thanks for watching!
Love this! Working on this set today! Thanks for sharing! What a supportive husband you have!
He’s a gem! Enjoy your time making your cards Debbie!
Wow!! You really hit the jackpot with this one! Tons of happy stampers, too! It really was a great video, and the two of you make such a cute couple! I love the cards, too, because they do the beautiful DSP justice. And I like the proportions having the top and bottom borders a little bit wider than on the sides on the three-panel card for variety. My plan is to work on this tomorrow—and send them out soon! Thanks again for great ideas.
Have a stamp happy day Susan!
I enjoyed your stamp-along-with -Dave video and would like to see more. I subscribe to your YouTube channel.
Thanks for watching! Have a great day!
Love all of your videos and I love that you recruited your husband! Keep up the good work!
He’s a real trooper and we enjoy sharing ideas with all of you!
He was very attentive and I think he really liked doing it. Plus instructions were easy to follow.
I’m glad that you were able to follow along with us Judy!
I enjoyed Stamping with Dave. It was nice to watch something a little different
Thanks for spending some time with us Jeanne!

Gerre
I’m so happy to hear that your have learned a lot here! That’s why I do what I do!!
Your husband’s cards made my husband so, so happy!! He is a General Family Practice MD
And loves to send cards to patients and people he works with and acquaintances. I made him a set of these cards blank inside so he can write whatever he wants too! He was thrilled! Thank you so much! Quick and easy!
What a great work; my hats off to him & thank him for his service. I’m so glad that these card ideas are helpful to him!
We made 156 cards using this. They are to be given to all employees at our local hospital (small, rural town). Now have the nursing homes, fire department and law enforcement to do!
WOW!! Way to go; I know you are uplifting the spirits of so many. Thank you!!!
Loved it. I’m new to card making and this has been a very informative video. Thank you Dave for playing along. Gave me even more ideals to bring my husband to my craft room!!
Yes, I love the sound of that–enjoy getting time to make cards and getting your husband in the hobby too!
Jackie and Dave – great video – not boring at all, very descriptive for us beginners. I love this new format for showing us how to use up scraps and also the pictures that follow with the cutting instructions. Keep up the great work.
I’m so glad you like this format! Thanks for watching!!
I throughly enjoyed your lessons and really excited to make all 11 cards.. So simple, and loved the idea on what to use the scraps for. Thank you for taking the time to do this.. One question, where did you get the label/tag?? Is it a punch?? I’ve never seen that shape.
That is called the Tailored Tag punch and you can find it here
Love the cards. Would like more ideas for using up DSP
I have a whole YouTube playlist full of ideas. You can review that here
I’m not sure how long ago you made this video, but I love this style. I did chose to watch it all the way through first because it helps me to see the big picture. However, I will definitely watch it and stop at the places when I make these cards. I think I will use 2 complete sheets fo designer paper so that I will end up with 22 cards. I’m making Christmas cards for the Troops, so this will be a nice number to throw in my box!
Yes, this is a great way to make a stack of cards for the Troops! Thanks for doing that!!
Stamping along with Dave was very satisfying. I would definitely like to experience more tutorials where I can follow along with each step. Maybe see more of Dave doing the cutting etc.
I’m glad you enjoyed this Margaret; thanks!
I love these follow-along videos. What a great idea! Thank you!
I’m so glad that you enjoyed this Cindy! Thanks for stamping along with us!
I thoroughly enjoyed stamping along with Dave. I would definitely like it if you created more Videos like this one so that I am able to follow along with each step. I make cards for our Card Ministry at my church and need to make many cards throughout the year.
I didn’t catch the name of the stamp set that you used for the inside of the cards. Would you please let me know so that I can order it.
Thanks so much!! Keep those simple cards coming for those of us that create many at a time.
Sue, the inside greetings were stamped with Lilypad Lake stamp set which is now a retired stamp set but you can easily find other greetings to use instead.
Jackie is the outside sentiment also from the Lilypad Lake set?
Have you created a video on reinking your stamp pad?
Thanks
Yes, it is. You can look around to see if you can find someone who has a retired set for sale if you’d like.
This is my first time here and I loved the simplicity. I am new to card making and I find most tutorials intimidating because of all the fancy equipment required. I just love to work with beautiful paper. This is something I can have my kids participate in and make cards to send to grandparents and friends.
Welcome Laura! Yes, please check out my YouTube channel and the playlists there too. I have lots of easy ideas using dsp (designer paper series).
I enjoyed that tutorial…I’m from Port Elizabeth in South Africa and make cards for charity (when I’m in the mood). Am definitely going to used this format again.
I’m glad that you enjoyed this format; thanks for watching! Have a stamp happy day Cathy!!
I really appreciated this video. I am an experienced cardmakee but sometimes it is fun to go “back to the basics”. Dave working along with you made this less intimidating to take the project on. Let me know if you want to see the pic of my card group. Thanks for the inspiration!
Thanks for watching. So glad you enjoyed this.
This was fun! I already follow you so receive your posts all the time. Would love more of these videos with Dave.
My demonstrator is Dawn Olchefske.
Thanks for watching Cynthia!
I love all your one sheet wonders ideas. This video was the BEST!!!! I can’t wait to show how we can make 11 cards in a short time with my card club ladies. Love it!!!! I would love to see more! Dave was a great sidekick!
I’m so glad that you enjoyed this video Barbara!
Thank you for this video. I’m such a visual learner and I love the start/ stop. Such a good idea. Appreciate all the clear instructions too.
So glad you enjoyed this video and found it easy to follow!!
Love all of these will be making some soon
Wonderful! So glad you liked this project and feel inspired to create!
