Stamp Along with Dave and Make 11 Easy Greeting Cards

Stamp along with Dave and make 11 easy greeting cards! Dave loves the company and learning how to make cards right along with you! This is fun, different, perfect for any level of card maker, and a great activity while so many of us are stuck at home!

This “stamp-a-long” video features none other than Stampin’ Dave!  We want you to create right along with him to make 11 simple cards called a “double wonder.”  This is an idea that was shared with me by Stampin’ Up! and I fell in love with it and wanted to share it with you.  I thought about doing it as a LIVE video, but then realized how so many struggle stamping along with something live as you can not go at your own pace.  So, here is my solution….  stamp along with Dave at your own pace by starting and stopping the video all you want!

How Does a Stamp-a-Long Work?

All you have to do is start and stop the video so that you can work at your own pace.  At the beginning we share the supplies you need so you just hit pause and go get them.  Then, when you are ready, hit play and follow along to the next step.

In the video we will show you simple cutting and scoring to make 11 cards, using any Designer Series Paper that you have!  You can do this with us, whether you are a beginner card maker, or been creating for a long time and just want something fun to do.

  7. Loved the stamp along with Dave making 11 cards. I enjoyed that because it didn’t make any difference what kind of paper you used so it was not as specific as some of the cards you make where you really have to use the same products as you used.

  20. Wow!! You really hit the jackpot with this one! Tons of happy stampers, too! It really was a great video, and the two of you make such a cute couple! I love the cards, too, because they do the beautiful DSP justice. And I like the proportions having the top and bottom borders a little bit wider than on the sides on the three-panel card for variety. My plan is to work on this tomorrow—and send them out soon! Thanks again for great ideas.

  22. Your husband’s cards made my husband so, so happy!! He is a General Family Practice MD
And loves to send cards to patients and people he works with and acquaintances. I made him a set of these cards blank inside so he can write whatever he wants too! He was thrilled! Thank you so much! Quick and easy!

  26. I throughly enjoyed your lessons and really excited to make all 11 cards.. So simple, and loved the idea on what to use the scraps for. Thank you for taking the time to do this.. One question, where did you get the label/tag?? Is it a punch?? I’ve never seen that shape.

  27. I’m not sure how long ago you made this video, but I love this style. I did chose to watch it all the way through first because it helps me to see the big picture. However, I will definitely watch it and stop at the places when I make these cards. I think I will use 2 complete sheets fo designer paper so that I will end up with 22 cards. I’m making Christmas cards for the Troops, so this will be a nice number to throw in my box!

  29. I thoroughly enjoyed stamping along with Dave. I would definitely like it if you created more Videos like this one so that I am able to follow along with each step. I make cards for our Card Ministry at my church and need to make many cards throughout the year.

I didn’t catch the name of the stamp set that you used for the inside of the cards. Would you please let me know so that I can order it.

Thanks so much!! Keep those simple cards coming for those of us that create many at a time.

    • Sue, the inside greetings were stamped with Lilypad Lake stamp set which is now a retired stamp set but you can easily find other greetings to use instead.

  30. Jackie is the outside sentiment also from the Lilypad Lake set?

Have you created a video on reinking your stamp pad?

    Thanks

  31. This is my first time here and I loved the simplicity. I am new to card making and I find most tutorials intimidating because of all the fancy equipment required. I just love to work with beautiful paper. This is something I can have my kids participate in and make cards to send to grandparents and friends.
