Snazzy Cards for Men | Video Tutorial
In my video today I show you how to use the dies and put together all the different pieces to create the look you want. And then-it’s all about experimenting with different papers and textures. You will feel like a fashion designer!
Card I Made in the Video

Supplies I Used:
- Card Base: Smoky Slate – 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
- Shirt: Well Suited Designer Series Paper – 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ + scraps for collar and strip down center
- Suite Coat: Going Gray – 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ + scrap for pocket + Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder
- Tie & Hankie (I think I called it a scarf in the video): Real Red + Subtle 3D Embossing Folder
- Lapel of Suite: Basic Black
- Buttons: Basic Gray
Make sure to watch the video to see how to put this card together. Below is a picture of all the different dies that are part of the Suit & Tie Dies.

It is so fun to play with all the different pieces. Below are the other cards that I show in the video. The ideas are endless once you know how to use all the different pieces.

The Well Suited Designer Series Paper (DSP) is perfect to use with these dies. Great prints for the shirts, ties and suit coat.

Thanks! That brings a smile to my face Cheryl!
Hi Jackie: These are so cute! I wasn’t going to get these thinking they were too confusing & too much work. Your video changed my mind & I can’t wait to get them to play with. Thanks for another great tutorial!
I hope you’ll love this bundle. There really are so many ideas with this one. Enjoy Sandie!
Thanks Jackie for a great tutorial. I was overwhelmed with all the bits and pieces in this die suite but following you made it so much easier. Many thanks all the way from Australia.
I’m so glad this was helpful for you. Have a great day!
Hi Jackie
I enjoy all of your videos but this one is incredible. You do such a good job of explaining. Thank you
That’s so kind of you, thanks! I work hard to bring everyone fun projects and ways to think outside the box and save time.
Thanks for all the great tips!! I made a suit coat for our pastor’s birthday this past Monday – he loved it!! His wife couldn’t believe how it was made – so yes, they do make outstanding cards. The long strip for the buttons is called the placket & the v-shaped piece that is folded back is the lapel. The white one looked like a sweater vest to me, with a nice dress shirt underneath.
Love all of your ideas – thanks for sharing!! We will be using this dies at our March stamp class – not sure about the suit yet.
I’m glad you are enjoying this set so much Janet! Have a stamp happy day!
Thank you for responding to my question. Blessings

This tutorial was OVER THE TOP fabulous. I was originally intimidated by all of the card details (along with what to glue down and what to use dimensionals on. Your tips were SO helpful. Thanks so much for sharing!
I’m thrilled to hear this was so helpful to you Carol, thanks!
Love the card you’ve made Jackie and also the other samples too – thank you for the great explanation of the die pieces and for the inspiration (I’m a bit late to the Well Suited party 😉) xoxo
I’m glad you enjoyed these cards Adele!
