For today’s cards, I’m using Stampin’ Up! Love & Strength, a versatile stamp set that pairs perfectly with this simple card making template—one I created and added to my ongoing template collection for easy, repeatable designs.

Below you’ll find the card and simple card making template details, including measurements, photos, and the supplies I used to create these cards. This section will help you easily recreate the design or adapt the template to your own stamps, colors, and Stamp-Ink-Paper style.
TEMPLATE MEASUREMENTS:
- Card Base: 8 1⁄2” x 5 1⁄2”, scored at 4 1⁄4″
- Layer 1: 1 ¾” x 5 ½”
- Layer 2: 2 ¼” x 3 ¼”
- Layer 3: 2 ⅜” x 3 ⅜”
- Focal circle: 2 ⅜”
- Circle layer: 2 ½”
What are card templates?
Making handmade cards is simple when you use these templates to spark your creativity. Think of them as your “patterns” for designing cards—whether you want something quick and easy or prefer to step it up to any level of creativity.
Template Tips:
- Adjust the sizes or shapes of the layers to fit the stamps, dies, and punches you’re using.
- Cut layers from cardstock, Designer Series Paper, embossed cardstock, or specialty papers for different looks.
- Rotate the template to create either vertical or horizontal cards.
- Step it up by adding more layers, embellishments, die-cuts, or punches.
