Sending Smiles cards and design ideas is easy! These cards can be made in minutes and I’m so glad that I got this new Stampin’ Up! stamp set! Today we are stamping with a SIP! What is a SIP? Making cards with only STAMPS, INK, and PAPER.
Don’t let the “overwhelm” take over and cause you to feel like you need tons of supplies. You can make darling cards with just a SIP. Start there–then step things up as you go!
So, let’s start with a SIP….

Sending Smiles cards are perfect for beginner stampers, as well as anyone wanting to make quick cards! Then, easily step up your card using dies – still easy peasy and adorable!
Sending Smiles Cards- SIP to Stepped Up
We are going to make 2 cards with the ‘Sending Smiles’ bundle–a simple SIP card, and then a stepped-up version.
I also want to give you some information about the Magnetic Plate for the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.
Were you inspired by these ‘Sending Smiles’ cards? Learned any new tips to help in your card making? I’d love to hear what you think!

What is a SIP Card & How Are We Sending Smiles?
STAMPS, INK and PAPER. I love to make SIP cards. You don’t need a huge craft room or a million supplies to make gorgeous cards that brighten someone’s day.
Especially when you are new to card making, think in terms of stamps, paper, and ink–those are the necessities.
For this card, my paper is the Stampin’ Up! Note Cards & Envelopes. These are a “fan favorite” since they come in a pack of 20. They are scored and ready to fold and include the envelopes. The perfect easy way to Sending Smiles in the mail!
Sending Smiles Cards Stepped Up
You can see on this card, I used the coordinating dies for the “SENDING.” I stamped the image, cut it out, and adhered it with Mini Dimensionals.
That little bit truly changes the card so much. I also added the little butterfly embellishments.

and then….. we can step it up even more….

I used a couple more die cuts and popped up the flowers as well as the “sending.” This card is stunning in person. Hopefully, the video shows it off better than this photo.

Great examples for this stamp set. I could not find the magnetic cutting plate on website
I am so sorry that the Magnetic plate is no longer available. I filmed this video prior to Stampin’ Up! announcing that it had quality issues and that they were discontinuing it. At this time, we do not know when/if it will become available again.
