Beautiful Greeting Cards Made Fast + How to Cut DSP to Make Cards
Don’t be afraid to cut your paper. I hear that all time, so today’s video is going to show you how to cut a 12 X 12 piece to make some pretty awesome cards. Plus I have several others to show you.

Here are all the cards I shared in the video…
They all use greeting stamps from the Peaceful Moments stamp set that is part of this same suite of products.
This is the one I made in the video. Make sure to check it out to see how to best cut the Designer Series Paper (DSP) to get the most cards that you can out of it.
Card Recipe:
- Whisper White Thick: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
- Poppy Parade: 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″
- DSP: 3 3/4″ x 5″
- Basic Black: 3/4″ x 5 1/8″
The card recipe for the rest of them is basically the same….a card base, a 5″ x 3 3/4″ piece of the DSP and a coordinating color layer behind it. I usually make those layers 1/8″ BIGGER, so 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″. If you don’t like cutting 1/8ths, then make it a 1/4″ bigger, or 5 1/4″ x 4″
Pictures just don’t do these cards justice. Make sure to check them all out in the video.
Also in the video I show how easy it is to add the DSP to the envelope flap.
