Last week I shared the “candle gift card holder” on the right and people went crazy over this fun (and EASY) project. However, I think people have bought up the entire stock of these candles. They are from the Dollar Tree and no one can find them anymore! But they are so dang cute! So, I decided to make another version, a bit smaller, to hold these mini coffee cups! These cups are available on Amazon–they are 4 oz espresso cups!
The directions are exactly the same as the candle one, just the measurements are a bit different!
Here is the original video–watch it to see how easy, just scroll down for the new measurements for the smaller version!
(if you are reading this in your email, the video might not show up, CLICK HERE for the video)
For the box, you need 3 pieces of cardstock.
Main Part of Box: 4 3/4″ x 4 3/4″ (score at 1″ on all sides)
Insert to hold cup: 2 3/4″ x 8 1/4″ (score at 1″, 3 3/4″, 4 3/4″ and 7 1/2″)
Punch a 2″ circle in the middle of one of 2 3/4″ square sections. To easily center it, I punched a 2″ circle from some scrap paper and adhered with just a little adhesive where I wanted to punch. Then I inserted into my punch and lined up the scrap circle (I hope that makes sense)
Gift Card holder: 2 5/8″ x 7″ (score at 3″)
For the wrap around the cup, I took one of the cups apart to have a pattern to just trace on the paper and cut out. I then used the Tombow liquid adhesive to adhere onto a cup!
And here is another picture of the first one I shared. Just click on the picture to go to that post to see more pictures and all of the measurements.

I just took one of the cups apart to create a pattern.
where did you find the candles what state do u live in?
I bought them at Dollar Tree. I live in Michigan, however, I know people have found them in Dollar Trees all over.
thank you i havent been able to find them in Iowa.
Where did you find the mini coffe cups and plastic dome on the candle? ?
The candle came from “The Dollar Tree” and the mini coffee cups I ordered from Amazon.
Found this on Pinterst! Love it! It was a bit confusing, because you had two different sets of numbers? Watched video, will try to make tomorrow! Thanks for sharing!
Have fun making this gift card holder!
