This is an older post that I am “bringing back” because the ideas are endless!  All of the papers and products in the post are now retired, however, it is really about how to make the boxes!  The video will teach you how to make any size box, so you can make a fun stack or individual gift boxes.

You can make these boxes with any Designer Series Paper, so grab some, and create a long with the video.

Above is the box I made in the video.  This is the largest in my stack shown above. You could make these boxes for any occasion! They would be perfect not only for Christmas but also for New Year’s Eve, baby showers, birthdays, and weddings. Make them as “favors” for everyone, or give a stack as a gift! How fun to fill each one with something special.

Gift Boxes – Cutting & Scoring for the Largest Box:

• BOTTOM:  Approximately 7 7/8″ x 7 7/8″. (It’s a “smidgen” less than 8″ x 8″)
  • Score at 2″ on all sides
• TOP:  6″ x 6″
  • Score at 1″ on all sides

Gift Boxes – Middle Size Box Cutting & Scoring:

• BOTTOM:  Approximately 6 7/8″ x 6 7/8″. (It’s a “smidgen” less than 7″ x 7″)
  • Score at 2″ on all sides
• TOP:  5″ x 5″
  • Score at 1″ on all sides

Gift Boxes – Smallest Size Box Cutting & Scoring:

• BOTTOM:  Approximately 5 7/8″ x 5 7/8″. (It’s a “smidgen” less than 6″ x 6″)
  • Score at 2″ on all sides
• TOP:  4″ x 4″
  • Score at 1″ on all sides
