Love Easy Card Making? Grab This Stamp Set Before It’s Gone

Do you love easy card making ideas? Let me tell ya, you’re going to want to grab this stamp set before it’s gone. You can make classic, easy cards that never go out of style.

Repeat of a Post From Last Year

I will miss this stamp set so much so I decided to just bring back a post from last year using it.  This post is actually a great one for those of you who are newer stampers because it is all about SIP–stamps, ink and paper! I just love easy card making!!  Below you will find the original post…..

I’ve got the ultimate guide to quick card making with my SIP series! If you are new to me and don’t know what SIP cards are they are handmade cards that only require stamps, ink & paper!  That is truly all you need to make beautiful cards.  Sometimes we get so hung up in needing all the “stuff,” but really, you can make pretty cards with just a SIP:  stamps, ink and paper! It’s not only quick card making but also budget friendly too! If you are a newer stamper, this is the perfect way to get started.

  1. Hi Jackie!

Although I love the SIP card idea, I can’t see myself purchasing the Winds of Change stamp set – it’s just a bit too Dutch ?.
Thank you so much for sharing another great tutorial!

Delft earthenware is often in ” Delft” blue and white, but other colors are quite common too. My husband and I live in a nice house not far from Schiphol airport and only a 15 minutes drive from Delft. In fact, The Netherlands are a tiny country and my, would I love to show you around! So, this is an official invitation for when people are allowed to travel again! We have a good spare room almost ready for you and yours. It sleeps 5, if need be. We’d love to have you!

    Love and blessings,
    Your friend from The Netherlands

  2. I grew up on a dairy farm in northern Indiana known as the “Dutch Mills Farm”. There is a Schermerhorn museum in Holland – ancestors of my dad’s family.

  3. Dear Jackie!
Thank you so much for your tip on never sending “naked” envelopes. Each card I send now has a stamp on it – the look is entirely different and the reactions overwhelming. Even from the employees at the post office!

  4. I’m truly sad to see this set retire. The images are lovely, as are the sentiments. Apparently it was under-appreciated. I’ve used this set so many times to make multiple cards and give away as gift sets. Whether you color the images or just use one color ink, the results are stunning. Thank you for sharing your creativity with us. And as Ineke’s comment recommends … never send a “naked” envelope!

  5. Good morning, Jackie!
Mentioning your name, I shared this tip with my team and I couldn’t believe the reactions. Too much work. Too timeconsuming. Waste of ink. More like these. Of course I mentioned the many enthusiastic reactions, but to no avail. Can you believe that? In the meantime I am having a hard time starting up my business. Here, people are not allowed to get together with more than 3 people. Counting me, that would be the host and one guest. Same goes for work shops. Meaning that I need to start online. That requires even more investments. We’re not poor, but still. Of course I have been contacting people I know, putting out ads, I placed a poster in my window (our front yard is about a yard deep). All advice I’ve been getting is that customers don’t just happen. I know that, I used to have a webstore selling scrapbooking products. Starting isn’t easy, but the pandemic blocks many possibilities. My team told me to make blogs, a website, get out there. As if I hadn’t figured that out myself. There’s been talk of slowly easing out of the ” intelligent” lock down – the Dutch approach was slightly different from other countries, with positive results for our economy: it declined, but not as much as in other EU countries (by far). My husband won’t see the possibilities, all he’s worried about is the amount of investments I have made so far. We’ve been happily married for 37 years and now he won’t even talk to me. It’s not all been roses, but as bad as this is new. Make video tutorials, they say – but that requires more investments. I’m trying the best I can and I’ve only been at it for 3 weeks. To give a work shop at home is something my husband poses to as well. What can I do?
By the way, our invitation is real. You (And yours) are welcome in our home.
    Love and blessings, stay safe,
    Ineke

  6. I really love your ideas. I have the set but haven’t used it yet. I love the card you did with the windmill & the flowers all the way across. How did you get the last bunch of flowers stamped without getting the windmill in the way? Really great cards

    • I’m not completely sure I understand your question but the stamp with tulips and windmill is one stamp. Does that answer your question?

  7. Hi Jackie,

Delftware and Springtime flowers….tulips, hyacinths, daffodils..a favorite combination !! Love your idea of stampin’ with Blueberry Bushel ink to make a Delftware image on Whisper White cardstock.

The card with the Blueberry Bushel mat is my favorite today.

  8. I have taken the retreat which was held in April. Not sure how to claim my free tutorial. I am interested in the tulip tutorial

    • Jean, if you participated in the retreat, you should have received an email on 4/30 with the links to all the retreat tutorials. If you can’t find that email, email me at klompenstampers@gmail.com so that I can resend it to you. In regards to the free tutorial, is that for ordering a catalog? If so, you should have received an email about that too–again, please email me so I can resend.

  9. Recently I received the Tulip stamps and punch. First, I used the Daffodil Delight and a few with Lovely Lipstick. I felt it missed something, so I used both for each tulip and the result was amazing. The punch left too much of white around the flowers and leaves. Might you have any ideas to prevent this? By now I can say that you have taught me SO much about stamping. For my tulip card I used your SIP method. My husband insists on seeing each card I make and he was blown away by the SIP. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR TUTORIALS! I’m new at stamping; at first I was hesitant. Thanks to you, I no longer am! You are amazing AND a good teacher!
