I’ve got another treat for you today showing you how to use the Peaceful Poppies Elements on cards. Talk about some easy and fun card making? This is it! I’ve got a birthday card, a thank you card, and a couple of multi-occasion cards to show you how versatile this set is.
The Peaceful Poppies Suite is brand new and you can find it in the mini catalog. The suite of products includes so many things but today our focus is on the PEACEFUL POPPIES ELEMENTS. This is a great way to add an artistic touch to your cards using these die-cut printed accents.
You can use these accents along with other products in the suite, or with anything else you like.
There are 4 different types of accents and you get 2 sheets of each one, so there are a ton of pieces to use in your card making. One of the types are pre-embossed images on watercolor paper. They are so easy to watercolor with some ink and an aqua painter.
Peaceful Poppies Elements: Let’s Watercolor & Look at the Other Accents Too
The peaceful poppies elements are so much fun and in today’s video I show you all the different types of die-cuts in this package of elements and how to watercolor some of them for a great artistic look that is super simple to complete.

Great idea! I, for one have so much designer paper, like years worth. I often bring a piece of DP to the inside of the card. Have a nice weekend.
I’m glad you have found way to use and display that pretty paper. Sounds like it’s time to start making gift bags or something with some of that other paper so you can make room for new patterns and share that lovely paper with your family and friends 🙂
I went to make these cards this morning as I am trying to use sketches to create simple cards each day of 2020. Can you double check the description of the right cut? I think it should be 1-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ to match the written directions. Thanks!
I’ll double check that as soon as I can. Thanks!
I really liked the diagram with the measurements for 6×6. Tx
I’m so glad this was helpful for you!
Hi Jackie,
Just found your site. Love all the ideas you have and I am going to get to work with some of my DPS sheets. Really like your videos.
I don’t know if I can ask this but I’m wondering if you live in Nova Scotia. I’ve only known one family with your interesting last name.
