Amazing Birthday Bonanza: 5 Different Cards to Fall in Love With!
Here are the 5 different cards I shared in the video. Make sure to watch the short video as I give several tips for each of the cards.
I think he might be my favorite critter in this set! What do you think of the COLOR BLOCKING on the tag?
I used the DSP for both the balloons and the party hat. This is easy to do with the coordinating dies.
Card Recipe:
- Coastal Cabana: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
- Grapefruit Grove: 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Scraps: Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay, Whisper White, DSP
The gang is all here for this one…. Again, I used a lot of the Designer Series Paper.
Card Recipe:
- Coastal Cabana: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
- Mango Melody: 4″ x 5 1/4″
- DSP: 1 1/2″ x 5 1/4″
- Scraps: Coastal Cabana, Whisper White, DSP
On this card I did not use any of the critters. It makes the perfect card for anyone. I stayed in the same color theme, but you could easily change to any colors and make it a completely different feeling card.
Card Recipe:
- Daffodil Delight: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2:
- DSP: 3″ x 5 1/2″ and 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
- Whisper White: 2″ x 2″
- Mango Melody: 2 1/4″ x 2 1/4″

And Here is the Trick I Shared in Video
You will see in the video, I used a scissors to cut the lions tail off the stamp with the mane. That way, I could use the pom pom instead for a little puffier looking tail.
Make sure to scroll all the way to the bottom for a complete list of all the supplies I used on all 5 cards today.
He just makes me smile!

- Coastal Cabana: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
- DSP: 2″ x 5 1/2″
- Whisper White: 2″ x 2 1/4″
- Daffodil Delight: 2 1/8″ x 2 3/8″
- Grapefruit Grove: 2 1/2″ x 2 3/4″
- Scraps: Whisper White
And final…..after cutting the stamp I can use the lion’s tail as a flame on my candle…
Card Recipe:
- Daffodil Delight: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
- DSP: 4″ x 5 1/4″, 1 1/2″ x 4″ and 1/2″ x 4″
- Whisper White: 2″ circle

Love the cards!!!! This is one of my favorite stamp sets. Will have to order more DSP with next order. If you want a really puffy tail, use one of the pom poms that come in the suite bundle. Thanks for all your great ideas.
