I’m going to show you how to make 5 uber fun puzzle cards today! There is just something timeless and fun about puzzles. Who doesn’t love a good puzzle…and in my household I had to find a way to make fun and creative greeting cards, right?!
I have had the Stampin’ Up! Love You to Pieces bundle since the catalog came out last June and it was un-inked, so I finally took it out to play. It was quite addicting and I could not stop creating puzzle cards!!!

Today’s video is a bit different because I don’t actually stamp in it. But I give you a ton of tips for using this stamp set & coordinating thinlits, along with showing you how I came up with my color combination.

Here are the 5 cards that I shared in the video, along with the recipe for each. If you’d like to make these, just scroll down to the bottom of the post and I have all the supplies listed. Card #1
Card Recipe:
- Soft Sea Foam: 11″ x 4 1/4″
- Real Red: 3″ x 4 3/4″
- Whisper White: 2 7/8″ x 4 5/8″
Puzzle Card #2
Card Recipe:
- Soft Sea Foam: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
- Scraps: Whisper White, Real Red, Night of Navy, Granny Apple Green

So Many Puzzle Pieces
In the video I talked about how I cut out 16 puzzle pieces of each color then just started creating the cards. I still had a ton of pieces left over! It was fun to just have them all cut and then figure out what to do with them!
Card Recipe:
- Granny Apple Green: 11″ x 4 1/4″
- Read Red: 5″ x 3 3/4″
- Whisper White: 4 3/4″ x 3 1/2″
Card #5
This card is a 4 1/4″ x 4 1/4″. I love making this size. You can mail them in regular envelopes!
Card Recipe:
- Granny Apple Green: 8 1/2″ x 4 1/4″
- Real Red: 3 7/8″ x 3 7/8″
- Soft Sea Foam: 3 3/4″ x 3 3/4″

Jackie, I always enjoy your videos! I have this stamp and die set. I tried putting puzzle pieces together before your video in different colors and found they don’t seem to fit so well. I tried it with the heart. I was hoping you would have shown how you put together the different colors on the larger rectangle you did in the video. Any suggestions?
When I put them together I adhere them to a backing piece, adhering one piece at a time. They seemed to fit fine for me. (maybe not as tight as a puzzle, but definitely good enough when adhering down.)
I would love to make cards using the Love you to pieces stamps as your site showed. Are they available anywhere? Used would work as well.
