I had such a blast making today’s projects. This is my kind of stamping and I’m so excited to share fantastically easy cards using Stampin’ Up Flowering Desert!!
As I was making these simple cards using Flowering Desert stamp set, I could have stamped all day! This is what I like to call a “parts & pieces” stamp set because you have a lot of pieces that you can put together so many different ways. It’s quick to build a scene and then just add your greeting and you have a speedy easy handmade card ready to pop in the mail!

Simple Cards Using Flowering Desert
It seems like every where you look right now you are seeing Cactus! It’s such a trend in home decor and I am loving it!!!! I thought we should carry the trend over into handmade cards that only need some simple stamping!
Maybe part of the reason I love this set is because I love Southern Arizona where you see these kind of cactus. This giant guy is called a Saguaro Cactus. They are just magical and make me happy driving through the National Park in Tucson. Last December we were down there visiting our daughter, and as always–I had to drive through the park! Here are just a couple of pictures:

I am totally addicted to your You Tube videos and I hang out for the notifications each week.
I am new to card-making and Stampin Up, but have dabbled in (basic) scrapbooking. The products are awesome and of course I want them all NOW! I live in NZ so am unable to become one of your customers! However there is a Demonstrator in Levin (80kms north of Wellington) where I live and I have recently hooked up with her and I look forward meeting other card-makers nearby through her.
